Should've challenged the JMac one earlier in the year and should do this time. Hire a competent (sports) lawyer tough. Easily a case to get it to low impact, but no faith in our legal team if it hasn't changed. Our arguments last year were pitiful, argued the complete wrong points in each case.
Amartey not any legs to stand on is a 3 weeker no question. Dumb from him.

We don't need to necessarily replace Francis with a tall defender given Dees lack of a dominant tall forward. Down back, they will have Petty, McDonald and May so I'd favour keeping Hamling forward to nullify May. Buller in for Amartey would be the most like for like and McLean did nothing to deserve an immediate recall. Mills played decent minutes yesterday and looked sharp. I think he could handle the sub role. Adams played out a full game and looked much better this week.

McInerney off the ball shoulder contract directly to the head that caused an HIA is a common 1 week suspension. Lucky it was not 2 tbh.


I think for it to be 2 it has to be a non concussion off the ball that causes an HIA but non concussion from memory that was Houston earlier this year

Wasn't pretty but hung in there , and found enough to pull away in the last.
Best game of the season to date for Heeney , even with 2.5 from his goal kicking, also Grundy showing form we haven't seen for a long time.
4-6 with Mills and Adams in the mix for a comeback next week isn't too bad, but for the love of all things holy can we get some goal kicking practice.

How much smaller do you think the SCG is? The SCG is 77.75 meters from the centre circle to the goal line, while the MCG is 80 meters. 2 metres makes **** all difference to this sort of game plan.

No it doesn't. Put the tape measure away Jimbo.. rock hard cricket wicket, it's a fast surface.

Teams need their book ends at the MCG, where flags are won. Chris Fagan knew it last year in the GF.

Scrappy game. Reminded me a bit of the Roos era. Loved the physicality. You could see that the Micky O passion rubbed off (watch the video of him post game on swans website).

Full credit to Wicks for playing with controlled aggression all game. JMac and Amartey take note - though I would prefer we tackle well and contest physically well with the odd indiscretion over the limp efforts from earlier in the year.

I am enjoying watching Sheldrick develop and impress.

Campbell too - someone should get in his ear and tell him he should have a mindset of “what special outcome can I deliver in this play” when he gets the ball in space. I feel like he is biting off less than he can chew.

I liked JMac’s game. Much improved.

Heeney has become a beast. His body looks so wide. Needs to finish better, that part of his game has slipped slightly.

Tommy is looking great in defence, back where he belongs.

Also, love him or hate him, Pistol Pete keeps surprising me each game he plays, not so much with any sort of dominance but moreso with how he goes about making each contest something uncanny. I mean, imagine if that scissor kick went through for a goal?
