Dennis bowled his 10th over in the 49th over that day. DK might have told Greg Chappell to get stuffed if he was asked to bowl the last ball of that match underarm.

Good point.

I have often wondered that if it was anyone else but Trevor to bowl that last ball, whether they (be it Lillee or another bowler) would have in fact said no.

And to think me and my mates used to stand on that bloody hill all day in the sun drinking West End....

They were good days.

Used to be a real challenge starting mid arvo as the toilets were at the back of the scoreboard but you had to go down steep concrete stairs to get to them. Difficult to do when your 12 deep....

Then at stumps, off to the Queens Head for more.....

I still cant see now how we stood out on the hill all day in 38c. Couldn't do it now for love or money

Seems to be much more 'bite' in the sun these days.....
