Everyone's forgotten how good Harvey used to be cos he's running around now as a good ordinary player. Harvs.

Hes still far better than that easily got Crawford covered. All modern day mid fielders have modelled there games on Harveys. Continuous gut running just grinding players into the ground.

Its splitting at exactly 50-50, shows what an even match these two are.

I think it shows how shortsighted people are.

1 poster admitted to voting for Harvey after never having watched Diesel play.

From a poster who hated the little rat more than words can say, and have always admired the way Harvey goes about it.............Diesel by a street.

WTF - 50/50?

I love Robert Harvey as a player, but seriously. Diesel by an absolute mile.

How the hell a short, dumpy, slow guy did the things he did is one of marvels of modern football. I'd love to see Williams "draft camp" results. Probably up there with Darren Jarman, I'd imagine.

He still holds the record for most disposals in a game: 53 disposals, 5 marks, 6 goals and 1 behind. (193 Dream Team points :p)

Trivia
Coincidently, that game was against St Kilda, with Harvey playing his 13th game. Harvey had just the 13 possessions. However, he bounced back the next week with 36 touches and 4 goals against Diesels future side, Carlton.

Williams was a gun

I watched the 1995 grand final the other day and it just reminded me of how good Diesal really was

Not only did he have the skills but he was also a hard nut, very courageous

Not to say Robert Harvey isnt a great champion of the game but IMO Diesel is alot better!
