is that puma tag even stitched on? looks like it has just been placed there for the photo so it looks more official, hiding the fingernail sized tag with simply the letter S on it.

Going by the naivety and vagueness, if it were detached, I think they'd make a note of thateBay Listing said:... I am unsure of it's true origins so I am listing it as a reproduction...
...Some small pulls in material - see pic 3 - and wear on collar tag, but otherwise in excellent condition...
Do you happen to know what the story behind the Port guernsey is?View attachment 944036
Precursor to BLK Grey
I'd assume it's been washed a lot or left in the sun a bit too long,
but the Sekem jock tag, collar and cuffs aren't affected
Similar to the blue and grey Kangas top from a few posts back

This would be cool if the light grey fade came in further down, so it looked like PB's from a distance.

Ha, a "nothing guernsey" to the club, but a super cool rare prototype to usThe original poster found it on eBay, got in contact with PA and this was their response
“This guernsey was just one of many samples made by a manufacturer but were never ever worn. They were never accepted as an acceptable brand for our Club. Sorry to say but it is a nothing guernsey”
Discussion - Jumpers That Never Were
The previous few posts actually provide a pretty good lead in to this post! I don't think this jumper is an authentic one from 1996 (Pukkah sports anyone?) but even so, pretty interesting seeing the Melbourne Hawks preseason design on a polyester jumper.www.bigfooty.com

If only there was a photo of the back of the jumper..... Here it is now... many thanks to the seller for sending me this image.www.bigfooty.com
Definitely from 1999, probably a warm up or training top. It has the same design as the jacket back then albeit the dockers logo is on the opposite sidehas anyone seen one of these before or be able too tell me what it’s worth, it’s long sleeve and looks like a training top![]()

Its a training top. Could be anywhere from 1998-2000, adidas used the same template each of those years. The Crows had the same ones. For us, its easier to distinguish the year because the club logo changed for 1999, and in 2000 the inside collar tag should have the new AFL logo. Incidentally, I just bought a Crows one (short sleeve) today for about 40 bucks on ebay. Although I would prefer a 1998 because its a Premiership year and I have the matching jacket, for the price I was happy enough with this one which appears to be a 99 version. Its quite interesting in that the adidas logo on the collar doesn't have the text with it, which is something you don't see too often.has anyone seen one of these before or be able too tell me what it’s worth, it’s long sleeve and looks like a training top![]()
