So, we suffered a narrow loss in the scratchy. Having been 37 points in deficit mid way through the third, we rallied to hit the front. A goal in the last 30 seconds to the Hawks sealed the dramatic loss.

Certainly a few selection headaches heading into our first match for premiership points in round two.

• In a resume-material performance, The Blue Weirdo exposed Barrybran's frailties. - 76m from 7 to 83.
• While overall a quiet day for both players, BlueE gave Loonerty a bath. - 13m from 7 to 20.
• Toe to toe throughout, it could be argued that BlueE had the better game against TY24 - although there was very little in it. - 73m from 25 to 98.

• In quite a tussle, Red mist did very well against beez. - 85m from 8 to 93.
• Spending most of the game pushing and shoving each other, Shermy did well against StFly. - 9m from 6 to 15.
