Im glad that he has been put on the long erm injury list. I would hate to see him rushed into the side when he isnt fit! He is a future star and we should risk him.

TF for TF would sound much better. I am on brentoncowell's side though, that we would be a mediocre side if Harry O'Brien plays in our best 22, and it would just be charity*. He is not in our best 30, let alone 22. His skills are ordinary, and when people say he was vice captain for Western Australia or whatever, then that just makes him worse.

O'Brien is a talent. Sure he may not be a "world beater", but he is a handy player to have.

Guy's, I hope O'Brien plays not just like a gun, but well when/if he plays a senior game this season, because I hope he can be a good footballer. From what I saw last year, and then the fans praising him, I just thought it was a little too much, but then again, we have discussed that in the other thread.

BTW - Seeing Cox in the I/C match put me on the bandwagon, (you may have noticed in my avatar and signature for a certain period of time).

He is only 187 but carltons brendan fevola is only 188 so who knows.. if he gets stroner kpp maybe, i can see malthouse making him into a bp type for a couple years then releasing him to hbf

Thats true he "could" be the next mal michael but that is just specullation, O'brien seems a bit more suited to game nowadays and the running of it, i doubt he'd ever get to the size of michael even though he has a good frame

He'll never be a true key position player. He may very well be able to match up with some key forwards (the likes of Hentchel) who usually take their marks on the lead rather than with one on one contests.
