So it's gone from being announced tomorrow to Eade being confirmed as a certainty now?

Will wait for official word from the club, at a time like this the rumours and speculation flying around are unbearable.

Personally wouldn't be pleased with Eade, proven failure at his previous two clubs, what's the board thinking if true? Third times a charm?

It has to be Malthouse. I cant see this move happening for Eade. Roos is not going to be going anywhere from Sydney and nobody else fits the bill.

Seriously, it is time to get the best coaches available. Malthouse and Watters to assist is the only way forward that I can see. Anyone else and I am going to be seriously pissed off that Harves got the chop.

But I can assure you he is a great coach to have from a supporters view- from what I have heard he is incredibly accomodating to supporters and is actually a great bloke.

This could not have happened all today. If Eade is the new coach as SEN suggests, Fremantle must of back stabbed Harvey while talking to other coaches or everything was just kept extremely private.

You'd hope he didn't overrule the medical staff and play injured players. If he did than he is an imboscile. Didn't rate him personally, hated the way he used multiple excuses for losses, even when true you should never do it.

Mabye Rodney Eade to coach ? Would be a great move by Fremantle if they managed to nab a experienced coach.

I've seen this suggested as a potential reason a few places now, I strongly doubt that a few excuses made in the media/being coy or "kooky" and what not is a legitimate reason to sack a coach.

It can only be a vastly superior candidate has been selected or something behind the scenes the admin has found to be of a severely debilitating and damaging nature, like the claims of overruling medicos.

Then you have to question why Eade couldn't win them a flag with exactly the same playing group Roos had. Tactically, Eade is a poor coach.

Eade has never believed in flooding & pressing. That is why soft outside types have flourished at the WB for years on end.
