Simply impossible to grow a mullet - my forte is sideburns, and i used to that the muttonchops to the stars!

I have a mate who is attempting a "Sticks Kernahan" mullet is pulling it off with grace and panache.

I haven't hada mullet. I've had a mohawk though.:D
I had the mullet/mohawk combo going a year or so ago. It started off as the typical metrosexual pretty boy one but the mullet just kept growing in direct proportion to how many people told me to cut it, and soon enough it had taken on a life all of its own, evolving into the fullblown shaved sides, disgustingly long at the back and spikes up the middle typa deal.

It was pretty bad.

I had the female equivalent-a lioness cut. (Well I AM a Port supporter). My son has a fair mullet now. It seems to be trendy again-as lots of the kids at his school have them. (yeah I know-it's common in detention!) :)

Yeah i had a mullet and now I miss it.
I don't know what all the backlash is against mullets but anyone in there 30's would have went through the mullet era as a teenager and basicaly back then they were cool.
I never went without hair on the back of my neck until i was around 28. I'm in a job where i have to look respectable so i have a haircut every 6 weeks but i miss my MULLET.

The freedom of hair man.
Ok i turn 37 in 2 months so maybe i'm past all that freedom $hit.:p

When I was 9 I started to grow one and cut it off when I was 14.

It was a kick arse mullet by the mid 1990’s I decided that it was time to cut if off as I was being pigeon holed as a Port Adelaide Supporter.

I just laugh at little kids now that have that ********ing rat-tail thing or the crew cut and the long fringe.

Sounds like my production this time last year. I let it grow and i looked like a member of ACDC circa 1975 complete with a long ratty tail. My girlfriend hated it so much that one night in November while i was sleeping she cut it off.

So i shaved my hair off and havent cut it since and now its coming back.

:D

Yeah had one in my childhood, one of those typical 70's & 80's haircuts.
Never grew the Billy Ray Cyrus length, but was a fair size though, probably got rid of it when I was 12. :o

no, but my barber gave me a crew cut once and said it was cool. i looked like pu. so i told him just to shave my head. ever since ive had short hair (almost 7 years now).

whats with bogan parents who make their kids grow mullets?

If the parents do not have any social conscience and ability to comprehend social acceptance why should the kids?

If it’s good for the goose and gander then it good enough for the gosling.
