I think the media have a vendetta out on Clarko, he doesn’t seem like a bad character from afar, not sure what’s with all the hate. If the journalist can’t mix it with the big boys then go find something else to report on. Seems like primary school crap when we hear of journalists sobbing afterwards.

Any particular evidence of "physical aggression via stalking players with a camera" or is this just something you've made up to justify his behaviour?

Punching a wall or a person is physical aggression. Asking someone questions with a microphone and a guy with a camera is not physical aggression.

"You are getting in people's faces and stressing them out. It is not acceptable. This is their place of work so please, everyone, leave them alone."

And before we get people spouting "OH SO HE HAD TO SAY THOSE EXACT WORDS?!!?", I mean that something more professional like the above would have saved him a lot of trouble.

So you can't think somebody isn't a good fit for your organisation unless they have an adverse court finding against them?

If you do a referee check and the person at the other end of the phone says "they can't control their aggression, have a need for total control and won't listen to advice and always think they're right and there's a chance they interfered in employee's private lives, but it hasn't been proven in court"

You would say "well, they've not committed a crime, so that's fine, let's bring them in as the boss of 40 young people"

If I did that, I'd get the sack for hiring them (that's not true, HR would tell me in no uncertain terms: There is no f'ing way you're hiring that person)

They are contesting the allegations against them. They say they didn’t do it. They are entitled to a fair hearing. Again, it’s just extraordinary that this needs saying, let alone repeating.

Like he didn't catch himself immediately. He thought it was a fair comment until someone pointed out how shit it was. whether or not the journo was shaken by it.

BUT - she was there to rattle people into saying something when clearly they would be better served not commenting. Clarko is in a position where he has to be more professional and should have the experience to handle it better, but journos do this shit to ordinary people all the time. She doesn't have clean hands on this, but he should face consequences.
