Hi Guys,

If any of you guys know me I tend to stick away from Rumour and hearsay. But, my uncle who is a serious collingwood fan happen to run into one of our players at a coffee shop and put him on the spot. Now my uncle can be very to the point and has no issue calling a spade a spade. He ended up getting out of this player that there has been quite some disagreement within the group and in fact there has been some in fighting between some of the team.

I wasn't there so I can only go off second hand information. Though it does make sense how a team goes from a cohesive unit for one part of the year to a soulless mess the next. If this is the case I really hope our culture hasn't gone down hill due to leading teams and we find a way to come together as one and get back on the high horse for next year.

Please don't shoot the messenger but I just had to tell other collingwood fans that something isn't 100% at our club.

We met at the VFL last year or so Zorabunde, I trust what you say 100%.

There's certainly no shock there, something clearly isn't right with the group, injuries aside.

The passion is lacking compared to how we player before.

Sad and not the easiest thing to remedy.

It's pretty clear that something isn't 100% at the club, whether there's any substance to the specific rumour or not.

2015 is shaping up as the key season for Bucks' coaching career.

Ok before this gets out of hand, let's have some perspective.
There's bound to be some frustration within the group from those who are keen to playAFL and have been kept in or sent back to VFL to work on things eg KMart, Kenno, Fasolo etc.
If that's caused supposed infighting then they need to toughen up.
When a boss or coach in this instance tells you what they expect before a promotion,(play in the seniors) until you do those things it doesn't happen.
Surely if was a big issue it would've snuck in to the media before now?
No disrespect to OP by the way.

Happens all the time at footy clubs, work places and the like and my suggestion is to suck it up and get on with what your being paid to do. If your employer is providing a safe and well equipped workplace you'd also hope he was endeavouring to provide a happy one as well.
Sometimes that's not always the case and someone not happy to do the 'hard yards' will often look for an easier option.

Personally I have a job that's creative, interesting and reasonably well paid but I'd swap any of our players in an instant.

Yeah, Leading Teams does seem to have caused problem at the Club. Simmlar thing happened last season.

With what I've heard I'd back that 100%! There's a clique that's been allowed (and perhaps encouraged) to develop and it goes beyond normal football club behavior/ politics...

Is that any Different to the old Rat Pack?

and Who is in this so called Clique?

Very different to the rat pack.

Remember the rumor re Fasolo bullying Broomhead, well from what I've been told that is the sort of stuff that the clique is doing (not saying that specific rumor was true or that Fasolo is in the clique!!!).

The rat pack was only ever about those guys having a bit of a laugh and never ostracized non-members. Whereas this clique has fostered the disharmony that we've seen on matchdays.

I think this is what Eddie was referring to
Internet carping.

Nah, internet carping is (when posted on the internet) "Sack Bucks, Bucks can't coach, Bucks doesn't have a gameplan, Sack Bucks, Bucks has lost the players, Bucks will never win a Premiership, Sack Bucks ..."

I'd speculate the in fighting to be due to a lot of these players on the list having never been in this position before. Almost all have never been beaten that badly in such concession and the mood around the club has definitely wavered. I hope we fix this as having professional athletes fighting and bickering is not how it should be.

So we traded the Rat Pack (which we are told was cancerous and must be eradicated) for the Clique (which is toxic). Well done there Pies, really got that culture cleaned up...

I understand naming the player on the internet isn't helpful but can we get an indication of whether they are senior or junior, best 22?
