I keep reading this. Do people actually care about this or is it a pisstake? I honestly can't tell anymore

Our "To-do list" is fairly long, on rank of importance I'd say this one would sit fairly low.
I concur. It's like a short back and sides will 'cure all that ails ya!'

It's a ****ing hairdo.....it's got literally nothing to do with footy.

If I'm to be patient, I like to see indications that my patience will be rewarded.

I think I've been patient. My patience is done, however the club have executed this perfectly as I also have zero ****s left to give.

As an indication of where I'm now at - Sat night I had to go to a dinner function so I instigated 'media shutdown' until I got home so I could watch the recording of the game, result unknown. Half way through the second quarter I scrolled up to x30 fast forward for the remainder of the match and just watched the scores tick over until the final 23 point loss. Hit stop, put the NBA replay on and not a **** given about Nightmare Time at the G.

That might be the way to watch from now on.

Does everyone realize Dyson “called for patience” in round 2 or whenever it was - not yesterday? This thread should be closed or at least renamed..

“Heppell called for patience (ages ago) and we still suck ... how long do we need to be patient?”

So Dyson’s kicking isn’t penetrating. But he would make every single AFL best 22 and he’s giving everything he has every week. He is definitely top 5 in our B&F.

We are all frustrated but not sure what the point of piling into this guy here is? About his hair and his kicking? We could do that on his thread. But seriously why should you when there are so many better things to complain about.

Patience on the other hand.... pffft.

I’m pretty sure conformity is actually loosely correlated with discipline and performance in certain professions. Maybe it has a creativity cost to conform but that’s not our issue right now.

Disagree.

Like Freakonomics said...it's not giving a child a weird name that will determine its fate - it's the child having parents that give it a weird name in the first place.

Dyson's hair, and his whole 'image cultivation' thing, comes from who he is. It's a representation of him, our club, and the issues we have.

Perception is so important with your captain, and regardless of how much he puts in, I don't think presenting like an out of work surfie is a great look for a leader.

When I think of the best captains over the past 25 years, not many would present like Dyson.

Would you prefer to run out this weekend behind Shannon Hurn, or Dyson Heppell?

How about Voss, or Heppell?
Carey or Heppell?
Hird or Heppell?
Buckley or Heppell?

I prefer my skippers to present like the vast majority of the best captains over the past 25 years.

Sitting the ball on top of his forwards heads isn't helping matters much, either.

Thank God I took Hep's advice. Otherwise I'd be pretty upset at how sh*t this club is and continues to be. Patiently waiting for that premiership. Any year now.

agree in parts.

I probably have more of an issue with his she'll be right attitude then i do his hairdo.

When he speaks it doesn't seem like a focused leader with intent, just comes off as a larakin

I don’t care what his hair looks like if he’s doing his job and setting a standard as Captain on the field. That’s all.

He was very good on Saturday, bottom of every pack, seem to revel in the conditions, unlike some of his mates who looked like they needed a roof.
I'll never understand the heat The Skipper gets, he was brilliant today, again. Leading from the front, first bounce.
