Pendlebury at $475,000.
He is my 2nd most expesnive centre.
If I trade him to Armitage ($170,000) i'll be able to upgrade Franklin to Pavlich and upgrade Mattner.

My question is what do people think of Pendlebury this year?

I think it depends how didak is used. If didak is in the midfield, then he will pick up the tagger, leaving pendlebury to roam. If didak is not being tagged, pendlebury will pick up the tagger, affecting his scores

Yeh, I really don't know what to do.

Just got rid of Thompson and Franklin for Pavlich and Rioli (+ Cash of course).

Now I have 2 rookies starting. Hmmmmm.

Neither.
Not worth it as both had great years last year but aren't worth the price this year. IF you must pick 1, Carazzo, because Priddis's nab cup form has been poor.
35 possessions to be Best on Ground last weekend is poor? What is considered good then?

I would pick Priddis over Carrazzo, however as said before there are better options around that price range.

I have priddis at the moment and am happy, just wondering who you think is better value in that price range?

Yeah i was actually asking about Priddis and Carrazzo for another game, one that doesnt matter about the prices. So 1-1, i'm not sure now lol:eek:
What about Simmonds and Leunenberger, who would you go for? And this actually is for Supercoach, so including prices and everything.

Not a fan of Nicoski either at the moment, however rumour has it he played a decent game last week. Having said that, IMO Nicoski > Ellis.

I picked up Bazza this year. He's in at the moment. At that price it was a little too good to pass up. I don't think he can get too much worse.

You would be better off saving some cash somewhere and upgrading Ellis. :thumbsu:
I dunno about Nicoski last week. According to Chamion Data, he got 46 DT points. I know this isn't DT, but that can't translate into a good SC score, unless he did some amazing things.

And what would you go with. Two 400k mids, or a 550k and a 150k mid

Not sold on Nicoski, but there are limited options in that area

Tough 1, the last or 2nd last bak men

Personally i go simmonds. I dont know to much about Leu other than he's an up and comer, if simmonds can capture his 2006 season form he is a steal.

Depends. Sometimes a player gets 50 DT points but 80 SC points.

46 isn't crash hot, however it sounds like he is doing enough to hang onto his spot for round 1.

My revised strat is to pick up either cheap rookies (>$140k) and pick a gun insted of two average players. Even if it means I have to start the rookie. I just hope my rookie selections play.

Ahhh forgot about that. Was talking about his 34 DT point score Round 1 and not playing Round 2.

I'd still look elsewhere.

I personally would go for the 1 gun, 1 average and 1 rookie.

Thats just me and I have no idea if it will make me the supercoach jedi master i aspire to be. :D

Nathan Jones anyone?
I don't know his SC scores but in DT he's got 79. 86, 89.

I'm thinking of downgrading Pendlebury to Jones or Armitage.
But If I do it to armitage then my midfield will have too many risky/young players - Cross, Murphy, Boak, Stevens, Dyson, Armitage.

That's too weak i'd think....?

Im starting to lean that way also spartan, I currently have Ellis, Nicocki and Proud all starting in my backline. Im thinkin i may as well downgrade Ellis to say have Pfeiffer starting and turn Nicoski into another gun.
Just a balencing act, then i gotta hope Proud and Pfeffer play 3 games to get me the cash.....I love this game.

anyways what your opinion
1.Jarred Rivers?

2.Mattner > Symes?

3.Kennelly > Gram > Birchall > Waite > Walker?

As you might be able to tell my backline is giving me hell!

No to Rivers.

2. Mattner and Symes is so tough. I've had Mattner for ages but am upgrading (so I'll have neither).

3. Kennelly if not injured, hard to tell because he hasn't played. Birchall would be the safest imo.
