lmao at the losing coaches cliche comments.

This one got me:

"There's still positive signs there so I'm pretty happy with that."

They kicked a goal every 70 seconds non stop for 2 straight hours. They had 91 scoring shots to your two, and flogged you by 429 points. What were these positive signs? The 1 goal 1 you kicked in the middle there?

"To Gordon's credit, they really did show us how the game's supposed to be played and our boys found out the hard way that they've got a lot of work to do."

Some media ( Channel 7?) promoting this is a good story.

I think the opposite . Its terrible

. I dont know much about the league/teams involved but country footy is in big big trouble when things like this happen. Can destroy clubs and communities

Sadly, this seems to be pretty much becoming the norm in some country leagues these days.

A goal on average every 70 seconds? That score is probably around about the limit for Australian rules football. If I was one of those winning players, I'd frame that photo of the scoreboard.

Meh. Geelong West's U/18s in the then VFA had 110 and two other games of 90+ goals kicked against them in the 80s. A ff in one of the 90 goal games, iirc, kicked 54 or 56. The ff in the 110 goal game kicked 48.
