Missed the shithouse news about Will McCabe. Young and raw, but could've come in handy with lack of tall defenders.

Was under the impression that Seamus was cleared for contact at training?
Did he have a setback?

I don’t believe so. I think the AFL site is taking info from the last update.

Surely that's not right for Shammy
Another 4-6 weeks?!
I would have thought he might be right for at least Round 2, if not our first game.

From what I understand, it's touch and go for Round 1, but after that...

Even if he's medically right to go, I wouldn't rush the Chad back. Let him build up to gameday level and give him a week or twoi in the VFL. At his age, you just can't take the chance.
Needs another 29 games to reach 100 for the Hawks. Should be achievable over 2024-25.

At a certain age and with a certain playing quality, it makes me chuckle how players turn from championship race horses into farm studs. The father/son rule puts a long-term value on genetics that is normally a little disquieting. But not in club footy. There’s gold to be mined in them thar hills!

Will Day... Be surprised if he got back before round 5-6.
Looks that way doesn't it...

I was hoping/had heard it mentioned that Round 4 was a realistic timeline...I guess not
