Hird Retires

Its official - its in a West Australian newspaper this morning.

I quote

'.. James Hird shocked his club today when he announced his early retirement to pursue a career in ballet.'

'...reporters always write about my grace and poise on the field and suddenly I realised my talents are wasted on the football field ... I just want to dance!'

It goes on but this is a bit of a shock for Essendon. Or maybe it isn't.

'Recently Hird has been displaying some strange behaviour such as waxing his back and wearing leotards during matches.'

But being an Essendon Boy nobody suspected a thing!!!

especially stretching

i know hird and a lot of other players use ballet techniques when recovering from hamstring injuries

mantis- its the annual UWA prosh paper he's referring to. This years is a bit of a let down, compared to previous years.

And to the girl dressed in the nurses outfit selling prosh's at the corner of St Georges and Milligan in town this morning, Id just like to say "You dont have the legs for that kind of outfit- you almost made me lose my weetbix..UGH"

the eagles take what we reject = prior and he plays a full season in their team - just goes to show how weak the whingers have become !

I think Prior saw the writting on the wall. I predict that Essendon will not get any higher on the ladder and that they will eventually drop out of the Eight. Whereas the glorious Eagles will be back on top again.
