This is your problem Ljp86 if you were as passionate about posting in match threads as you are when you have a crack at me you'd be rated among the best ever.

You were the one that doubted boncer's and my standing in the Hall of Fame. Perhaps if you gave a bit more thought to your posts you wouldn't get shot down so often.

I'm not sure it's feasible to question Ljp86's inclusion in the Hall of fame.

One of only 2 duel Mobbs Medalists, 4 club B&F's and 7 All-SFA selections justify such an inclusion. Not to mention captaining a club for 9 years. That's an impressive resume in itself, and not too many can lay claims to having a history of similar ilk.

I'm not privvy to the happenings of past seasons, but the general consensus seems to indicate that activity level were in no way apparent to what they are in this day and age, and that Ljp is as active now as he has even been. He's a victim of the ever changing landscape of the SFA, and doesn't feel the need to fly with the growing trend and post incessantly at every opportunity, but credit must be given for keeping a club a viable entity of the league through his actions both on and off the field.

You'd be hard fetched to find a career as worthy in the history of the SFA.

Actually he already is rated amongst the best ever due to the parade of qualifications already clearly denoted earlier in this thread. You are somewhat correct in that the passion behind such posts as that the which you have quoted only add to ljp's folio of input quality. Not everything has to be a match thread post - and it's not as if he doesn't carry his weight there, either. People will be remembered for seasons for what they did in match threads, but they'll be remembered forever by what they did outside them.

Being Captain of a team for nearly a decade of seasons while also maintaining important threads in the league and one of the longest running season media threads is almost enough on its own without the additional sim plaudits. ..

Both contributed quite a lot when they were captains and they still do. They keep people on their toes and hold people accountable for their actions, they've been a little off the mark in some instances but at least they put the effort in and their hearts are in the right places.
