Strategy How can the St Kilda game plan be exposed?

not 40m and on a tough angle like Riewoldt's shot.

So you're saying your full forward and "star" player, shouldn't be able to kick a goal from 40m on a 45 degree angle?

I'd imagine a shot from this position would be a gimme for a full forward. Especially someone as good as Nikki Revolt.

I suppose it depends on whether she has her skirt on, or her bike pants?

It's a ****ing month old ya dip shit !!! are you deaf; how many times do you have to be told !!!

Vent sonny Jim, VENT!

Who said your going to win your Pre-lim anyway w***er?

For your information numnuts your next opponent is Adelaide or Collingwood. Maybe you you should wait to see if you get over the top of either of those two teams before you start organising match-ups for the apparent St Kilda V Geelong Granny because your going to look like one dumb mother if you get rolled. I hope your club takes the crows as lightly as you are.

Your no Given and niether are we.

More then happy to miss shots that were irelevant to our season position on the ladder unlike Mooney, Ottens and Stokes choking in the GF last year from 10 metres out, not 40m and on a tough angle like Riewoldt's shot.

But hey, their body language during the national anthem probably suggested they wouldn't be phased by those moments, right?:D
Hey we've been there done that, fair enough shot ourselves in the foot last year but we've moved on.
We have another chance to rectify that if we get past coll/adl...as you do to w either the bullies/bris; we've got the runs on the board so we know what to expect. You've still got too get past that final hurdle...

Yeah, you would, but I suppose your club doesn't have much recent experience of full forwards having shots at goal to go on.

St Kilda's accetance of mediocrity and tendency to choke can be summed up in one nice picture.

If you had any knowledge of football you would know that shot is a 50-50 for just about most AFL player's except maybe a guy like Porplyzia.

If you had any knowledge of football you wouldn't barrack for St. Kilda.

And for a full forward playing at Etihad with the roof closed I'd expect it to be more like 70-30, not 50-50.

Even Mooney would be 51-49

And if you knew anything about football you would have known from the 2nd Reiwoldt line up he was nevern going to kick it. He'd missed before it touched his boot.

Why not?

and when will Milburn ever kick 2 goals in a game ever again lol?

and since when does Mooney kick goals from outside 50? Maybe we should let him have it from 30 out and see how he goes :)
Well he's previously kicked three against you, I can't imagine another BAG of 2 would be that great a surprise.

If there's one thing Dasher is, it's consistent.

ah DOHHHHHHHHHHH!! if i did'nt know that...your the toss bag !! i'm not even the 'one' organising match-ups FFS...touch wood with you morons vs doggies or lions.

And he had a shot from 55m on the boundary line the next week to win the game that was touched on the line.

At least he is man enough to step up and take responsibilty like key forwards should unlike Cam Mooney who looks to dish it off to a team mate when he is 20m out because he can't handle the pressure and is about to crap his pants.

Mooney, Ottens and Stokes are premiership players.

Riewoldt is nothing.

Clearly you lot are extremely worried about Geelong which is why you're trolling here. I haven't noticed a single Geelong supporter trolling your board - correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't blame you. If my club has consistently underachieved - or been plain terrible - for my entire lifetime I'd be pretty edgy too.

/ end thread.

Great DVD, I highly recommend:thumbsu:

Can you please just leave their board?!

I mean FFS, unless you're saying something constructive as opposed to trolling, just go! Your input clearly isn't appreciated!:thumbsd:

Ha ha ha ha.

And we all know Gary jr would have been the only player in the room to of been devastated if he didn't win the personal award. You could almost see the tears well up in his eyes when his team mate Bartel won the Brownlow over him and again last year he couldn't believe he didn't win.

Riewoldt is a true champion always putting his team first unlike Ablett who plays for himself. I couldn't believe last year when Ablett was out injured and instead of doing the team thing and supporting your mates he decided he was too good for that so he had right to leave before halftime in his board-shorts to do some more shopping.............Arrogance personified:D

Enjoy the Brownlow Gary

lol when riewoldt got hurt a few years ago he broke into tears, you would never see ablett crying over himself infact you wouldnt see anyone crying over themselves getting hurt and picked on

great job players on picking ablett ,swan and judd ahead of riewoldt :)

This thread has been around for ages. There was also a thread made about Collingwood when it appeared the we would probably play them in the first week of finals. We haven't made a thread week after week for every game we play so why should we have 1 for Adelaide? If you think we are underestimating Adelaide/Collingwood in the prelim then you are sorely mistaken. Unlike the Saints supporters that have already written down their prelim as a win regardless of who they play.

If you're not going to contribute anything substantial, please leave. It's absolutely unnecessary for you to come on to our board and dish our players. We're not arrogant - if you've read some of the posts here, you'll know quite a number of us were nervous about the qualifying final against the dogs. We'll be similarly anxious no matter who we face in the preliminary final. Having said that, we are also entitled to be confident in our team. The purpose of this thread is not to show that we've already counted ourselves in the Grand Final, but to create discussion. We're here as footy fans first of all, and we're perfectly entitled to discuss possible tactics to counter certain successful teams.

And yours is?

Your a bit suspect yourself newbie

Welcome to world of BF darl. Some topical discussion, some sledging and a bit of banter just cranked up a gear in finals. Thats all. Don't get to offended.:(

Are you on BF to discuss football or just how you want to shag every AFL player?

gees guys sounds like you booked your tickets for the grand final already and who say you play the saints they have to get pass the bulldogs first

Coming from Geelong supporters who have already looked past Adelaide and Collingwood towards their potential GF opponents in 3 weeks time. I thought the crows getting within 2 pts of you at SS and their excellent form would warrant a thread but obviously not.

Where's the RESPECT

Geez when will cats fans learn.............

Adelaide had won 5 of the previous 6 games going into that game, and we had some blokes named Matthew Scarlett, Harry Taylor, James Kelly and Brad Ottens sitting in the stands, and Steve Johnson was playing his first game back after a month out through injury. I think they'd make a hell of a difference going into any return encounter, don't you?

You have a problem with that?

If so...

It's probably a little difficult for some people to realise, but this thread was started in May - prior to Geelong meeting the Saints in the home and away season.

The amazing thing about forum threads is that people keep them alive by posting in them, which is pretty much the whole point. The "Last Post" is exactly that, not when the thread was started.

So... and this is important, so try to keep up - most of this thread is a dissection of St Kilda's style of play, along with one or two Geelong fans who are perhaps 'optimistic'; the rest of the posts are trolls from other team boards who can't figure out that this thread is around four months old, and feel it's necessary to share their two cents worth about how we are all 'getting ahead of ourselves'.

Read the thread from the start to get the context first, or - better yet, if you have nothing but useless drivel to write - just don't bother posting at all.

im not a troll mate just find it really arrogrant peopole think you going to be in the grand final adelaide should have won that game against geeling at skilled if it wasnt for chapmans bombs from outside the 50 if the crows can get close at skilled they better at the mcg
