The other thing is, how is Birss and van Rheenan training. I've always been a rap for Birss and do you think he'll be in your best 22, and last year I played against van Rheenan, even being on him for a brief amount of time (hes a good head and shoulders taller than me) and I would be interested about your thoughts on him as a recruit and his progress thus far.

First of all, you spelt van Rheenen wrong. (Twice, so I don't think it's just hitting the keys out of order)

van Rheenen has impressed a lot at training and looks to have a good future while Birss has been going ok. Nothing special but should play at least 5-10 games.

We'll get a better idea on the new players after Friday nights intra-club game and the NAB Cup matches.

I wouldn't think Van Rheenen is in our short term plans but who knows which youngsters will put their hands up.
