How long before we see Rusling

Heard nothing but glowing reports of the young man and although this week I take on his old footy club in Westminster living in Adelaide im keen to see how he goes once he gets a run. Ill be sure to ask a few opponents on the weekend if they know him. Im yet to see him play or train and the reports I have read are nothing but great. So how long do you think it will be before we see him in the 1's.

In his press conference after the game againt the Toasters Mick said "Rusling was only inches away from playing and it was a close run thing whether he played today"

Having seen him, he'd be good to play this week.

But if he's given another week in the ressies, we Victorians can all set the VCR and tape the Willi vs The Filth on the ABC!

No need to make many changes this week. Davies would be in danger of being dropped for another mid. More than happy to get a good look at him turn out for Willi this week and play a full game. Let's hope he plays a blinder so we can all get excited about his imminent debut.

Rusling could be a good 3-4 weeks away from playing for Collingwood..

If he continues his solid form in the VFL, he might be ready to play in Round 11.

I think I misunderstood what you said, that he was 3-4 weeks away from being ready. He's ready now, but agree he might have to wait as long as it takes.

We can still win with players being out of form.
Swan, Davies, C.Cloke, Rowe could all be dropped to VFL (either for form or to get a full game or rest in C.Clokes case and his concussion) unless they have 2 shocking games in a row O'Bree and Lockyer are safe. These players would be replaced by the injured (Woey perhaps, Davis, Fraser, Richards, Cole) but the bulk will come through Willy anyway. The players up for selection from VFL are: Rusling, H.Shaw, King, and even Hall.

wouldnt mind seeing him run out against the Hawks...even coming of a win

will allow him to slot into the side easier, with a little less pressure i feel

I was thinking he might give Woey another week and a game at Willytown and bring in Davis for Davies as Leon was playing ok before his injury. Im not sure why people are thinking Rowe should have a rest because I thought he was good on the weekend. Swan also was solid. Not sure who to drop but Davies has had a fair run.

Don't think it will be too much longer before we see Sean in the side, MM spoke of him in glowing terms at the Cocktail Party, cant wait to see him along side Taz as you say put Taz on the Wing.

There is absolutely no way Tarrant will play a full game or any time on the wing as he has a saw knee. He wouldn't have the wind tank to play there. Wingmen don't play like they did 15 years ago when they run up the one side. They are pretty much oon ballers now. Taz, by his own words doesn't have the fitness to play midfield with his bad knee. It would be better to have Tarrant play half forward rotating into the forward pocket so that we can use his marking inside 50.
