I’m sure I saw Dougie tackle Martin during the match. His tackling couldn’t have been as bad as what some people seem to make out.
Glad they didn't go with your opinion, last 3 would have been three loses with out Big JJ, I bet your hoping like me its not a bad injury
Does anyone have a list of what counts as a "pressure act"?

Who takes second ruck spot if Fogarty replaces Jenkins though?
Have we ever deviated from that structure since Pyke took over? I have a feeling we did it once and Greenwood rucked a bit but can’t recall when.

How's some of the medical language he uses in these reports. How good is Steve Saunders injury reports, blunt and to the point, estimated recovery time.
He screams of professionalism, must be a breath of fresh air for our players.
I wonder if he’s had to explain the reports to Burton. How's some of the medical language he uses in these reports.
Loving it.... rather than "hamstring awareness" or "reported soreness in his knee"
Can't really complain too much about Birdbrain this year, we simply haven't heard him much and the team is going well.I wonder if he’s had to explain the reports to Burton.
Speaking of Burton, the fact the club has had to hide him should be a clear indication he doesn’t belong there.

Hass likely hates him. Saunders probably sent him to get a long weight on his first day
I reckon if JJ played instead of EH it may have been a different resultThis is key and it is key for another reason.
Back in 2017 when we lost the GF JJ came out later and said that he wasn't in the right head space or words to that effect.
At the beginning of this year, commencement of the minor round I think after the Hawks loss we hear the same stuff from JJ as we heard after the GF loss.
He is 30, if he can't get his ####### head space right now when is he ever going too!!............the truth is he's not and for that we should concentrate our effort on developing EH.
As far as I'm concerned JJ can play SANFL, I don't want him back in the AFL team.
63 to 40 inside 50s, the result wouldn’t have been any different. Our efficiency up forward was on par with Geelongs.I reckon if JJ played instead of EH it may have been a different result

JJ was missed terribly we need a finisher63 to 40 inside 50s, the result wouldn’t have been any different. Our efficiency up forward was on par with Geelongs.
Our midfield let us down in the second half.
We had over 20 less inside 50s and on par inside 50 efficiency. Yes having Jenkins would have been better but not the difference, not with a differential like that. We lost it in the midfield.
EH competed hard, but the clear difference (to JJ) for me was that he was being outbodied in marking contests, particularly in the one-on-one.63 to 40 inside 50s, the result wouldn’t have been any different. Our efficiency up forward was on par with Geelongs.

JJ is the only guy that looks capable of kicking a bag besides Betts who is only littleEH competed hard, but the clear difference (to JJ) for me was that he was being outbodied in marking contests, particularly in the one-on-one.
JJ 2 weeks ago is in our best 22, no question. Berg can compete but needs to grow a few more kilos of muscles to be more damaging.
Tex is capable too, just wasn’t so last night. I think his elbow injury (he was strapped) affected his ball drop and kicking for goals. We really need Tex, JJ and Betts to fire together if we’re going to be a serious contender this year.JJ is the only guy that looks capable of kicking a bag besides Betts who is only little

Berg unfortunately competes and presents but unless he is clear cannot take a mark. Tex and JJ combo provide that marking threat when delivered to properly and not double teamed by opposition.
With JJ out the only players that can clunk a mark are FOG or Strachan
Lol, Strachan isn't coming in anytime soon!Berg unfortunately competes and presents but unless he is clear cannot take a mark. Tex and JJ combo provide that marking threat when delivered to properly and not double teamed by opposition.
