I usually get mildly sick at the start of winter and then watch it pass on to each family member getting worse and worse each time.

I usually get the flu a couple of times around the flu season. I also suffer from hayfever so I suffer from that a bit. But other than that I hardly ever get sick.:)

I'm just getting over bronchitis, which I've had for two or three weeks in some form. I had just gotten over the flu which I had gotten in late July. So I've been on and off sick for the last two months.

It is like clockwork for me. In late winter, I always get sick, no matter how much vitamin C I gulp.

At least winter is August now. Back in my northern hemispherian days, I always got sick around my birthday, which is in February. A few times I've been sick ON my birthday.

sad 2 hear that Suzi....a mate of mine passed away from cystic and was always very sick with it like goin on the machine at lunch times at school and stuff and was always in and outta hospital.

As for me im always bloody sick because i work in bl00dy childcare. Coz i had pneumonia and chronic fatigue a few years back i am prone to gettin sick easily now grrh  and have had 3 really bad flu infections in about the last 2 months :(

Like Spidey, I work in child care and it's really easy to pick up lil infections and stuff, mainly because parents don't keep their sick children home so we all suffer.

Lately I've been sick quite a bit, but haven't had a bad year overall. :)

I had tonsilitis (sp?) 14 times last year! I managed to get a cold, turned tonsilitis, turned flu then back to tonsilitis again over a 3 week span..... only 1 week before my 21st Birthday party! The only upside..... I went from a size 10 to a size 6! But 3 weeks later i was back at normal weight....so not too much to be scared about.

Iron count is back in check now, so only had tonsilitis once this year so far (touch wood) and only been sick a couple of times. Most sick days have been taken this year because of my back.

I'm pretty sure the air con is warped in the office too, so that doesn't help. And being in reception with all the germs that come in and out of there probably isn't good either.

I rarely get sick, but I did spend a week in hospital two months ago after a football incident. I was cleaned up by a team-mate and had bruised kidneys and a bruised bowel.
Got back on the field last week was in the best players in the B grade, had around 25 possessions on Saturday just gone and am hoping to force my way back into the A grade for this week's semi-final.

The risks of working in an office...

Hope you haven't eaten any dodgy biscuits at work. You gotta watch those USE BY dates ;)

I have a fair bit of leave booked up, so it depends how much nice weather we have on how often I get sick.
:D :D

Well I dont get sick all that often at all. The occation very minor cold, but I have never been bed ridden sick.

And the last bad sickness I got, was the chicken pox.

And that was in year 9...
So ....

I had the chicken pox in grade 6...so....1997...that makes it five years yeah? I also had German measles when I was 5. And when I was six weeks old, I had piloric stenosis, life threatening apparently and required an emergency operation (scar still with me  ) but I won't go into that :D
