Welsh wasnt slow, and I'm sure there was something wrong with Mal. He just seemed to be carrying a niggle from late in the 1st qtr.

I never want to see Bolton in an Essendon jumper again.
sadly Johnson, Campo and a few others were disappointing, Stants tried but is clearly injuried
Jetta and Monfries will hopefully comeback soon with Lovett Murray not far away and missing Hillie in the ruck.
I'm happy we got the 4 points but gee we need a 100% improvement next week.

That Bolton effort in the last minute, which was fantastic, will get him another couple of games.
I thought Campo was good, I thought he ran himself into the ground and his defensive efforts were much better.
Lonergan or Heff for Bolton.
I'd say either can get it more than 7 times and give us something.
Bradley or Monfries in for Stanton.
Hell .... I'd even chance my arm with Dyson again.
Bolton does 1 good thing a game and he's deserving of a spot in the side?
Is that what it's come to with Bolts?

Surely Heff, Lonergan, Dyson, Bradley would have been better options.

Campo was good at times but our midfield seemed hardly to have won a clearance.
Yeah fair point, that would have given us a better side on paper, not sure if it would have effected the result though.
Yep, Hird, Lucas, Lloyd and Fletcher were all deplorable tonight.

still too slow for mine. I reckon we are only a couple of runners off getting the mix right. Just worries me, we don't seem to be getting enough players to contests for a full 4 quarters at the smaller grounds. Looking forward to our next game at the G to see how we fare.

Id say Bolton, Campo probably for sure, MJ perhaps, JJ should stay.
Stanton will be out as well, injured/dropped whatever.
Depends on Welsh too, he may go.
We wont turn over too many, so if welsh and stanton are out, Bolton and Campo the maximum delistings you would think.

Jetta had had about 8 possessions in two weeks for Bendingo and isnt ready to play midfield yet. Not exactly a realistic choice for promotion to the seniors.
