When I was like 5 I always wanted to have a huuuuge wedding... me and my cousins used to plan it. And I was going to wear a dress like Princess Di did when she got married ;) lol

Now, I don't even know if I want to get married. I don't really think about it - although if it was to happen, considering my parents both have very large families, it would probably have to be big

But as for dresses etc... it's best to have things that don't look so dated. Most pictures you see from weddings from the 60's are just SO obvious... you want something classic.

I might get married again someday. For now I am still in the process of reacquiring everything I lost in the first marriage. Only two things.... a house, and everything in it.

On the second go round does the guy get to keep any of his stuff, or does it always go to the girl?

My cousin got married for the second time (schmuck). He told me he was going to be in charge this time. The wedding was so expensive, the father of the bride offered to buy him a brand new Chevy Corvette if he would just simply elope. He didn't take the Corvette. Do you think he is "in charge this time?" Me neither.

Is that the one next to Adelaide Oval? Never been inside it, but it looks great from the outside on telly.

The Anglican Church set this up a bit confusing, but both the church I'm referring to, and the one near Adelaide Oval are called St Peters Cathedral.

You'll find that if any VIP's die in Adelaide, their funerals are usually held at St Peters in Adelaide, it is huge inside, ornate, all in all a wonderful building of it's type.

The St Peters I was referring to is located in Glenelg, a seaside suburb to the west of Adelaide

I will probably never get married anyway, because nobody will want me, so there is no need for me to have unrealistic fantasies. :(
Saying things like that is a self fulfilling prophecy.

May I ask why?

Because that is how i have be brought up, and that's what i've always wanted. If i were to get married ... i'd want to do it properly.

Yes i am a traditionalist ... and i know that an unorthodox wedding would not sit well with me when i looked back on it in the years to come. :)

Ok - so then, you just want a traditional wedding because it's how its always been done?????

But, I ask, what meaning does it have to you personally? Why would a marriage not be the same to you if you did it differently?
