I’ll give you a rundown on Victoria.
95% can’t stand Dan. Some have come over to reality more recently.
4% still love him as it’s too late to go back and need to save face.
1% don’t care either way.
You are in for nasty shock friend.

Andrews has personal polling numbers around 70% approval and is leading two party preferred by 58%-42%.

Add to this that the government has a sitting majority so big that the swing against them would need to be the biggest in Australias political history (state or federal) to lose office.

Oh and dont forget that the LNP is an absolute rabble that due to having so few MPs has a leadership choice between an unlikeable forgettable rodent faced nobody, another unlikeable forgettable nobody with underworld connections or Tim ****ing Smith 🤣🤣🤣

Enjoy your next four terms of DAN!

Who is Cath?
And yes speaking from the inside the public ED it is a mess. But it is a mess from population growth and increased patient expectations, as well as increased paperwork for “national standards” which delay actual nursing care.

Dans no1 defender

But have they built the extra hospitals that she claimed? If population is increasing we should have more hospitals, more Ambulances, more paramedics, more nurses, more doctors. Has there been anything there?

The current crisis isn’t helped by the fear Dan created over Covid which has seen most gps refuse to see patients with Covid symptoms so they’re forced to go the ED for small issues..

I find it remarkable that the guy who was obsessed with personally conducting hundreds of press conferences day on day hasn't fronted for one zoom or skype call since his alleged accident at a mystery location.

Cassar might be safe because we don't have a functional government leadership to sack her.
so nuffies like you can shout ‘why aren’t you back at work' and undermine the authority of the acting premier at the same time. you dipstick.

I love how the sheep automatically go to insults when their saviour and lord gets questioned. The bloke would talk under water if he could, he loves the sound of his own voice that much. Suddenly nothing. You can clearly see how odd it is, but can’t admit it. It doesn’t undermine the acting premier at all. Send a selfie video saying hi to everyone and letting us know how you’re doing. Turn the comments off Twitter if you’re scared of insults. Pretty easy. It’s pretty clear to work out - he’s either in a shi* load of trouble with the law and can’t be seen OR his face has been restructured in a bad way.

are you really as dumb as that? cast aside me calling the nuffie a nuffie and put your brain into gear. andrews is still in rehab. if he started making public statements you and the dan haters would be shouting 'get back to work'. and he would be undermining the authority of the acting premier.

i'd be more concerned about your leader who is clueless.

So can’t do a 30 second video but can get a photographer in to his house to take a photo of him having brekky with his daughter during “rehab”. Can’t believe how dumb I am for having common sense.. it’s shocking!

Newsflash- we don’t want him back to work.

Drewie my dear reactionary lad you really must stop using your look-after-the-wealthy-and-stuff -the-rest ideology to personally attack those who are more knowledgeable, intellectually superior, and better credentialed.

Prof Sutton was seen regularly at a time when there were testing times in Victoria. No more than Prof Murphy in the federal sphere who was ever-present there in testing times. Incidentally, Murph did such a good job as Slippery's mouthpiece he was rewarded for his services to the reactionaries with his appointment as CEO of the Dept of Health.

The reason Prof Sutton is no longer so prominent is that under the strong effective leadership in Victoria COVID has been contained. A significant part of which was sorting out the colossal mess due to Slippery having no pandemic plan in Aged Care. The reason Prof Kelly, the new CMO, (and Murph too in his present role) remain in the limelight is that Slippery and his muppets still have major unresolved issues.
Out of touch Public Servant's like you have enjoyed their zoom year, happily taking their normal parasitic salaries - sprouting how we are all in this together, as those in the real economy have lost jobs, depleted their super, seen their businesses fail, the mortgages capitalise, the families and friends estranged.

What exactly is this plan - to confine the elderly in isolation? To mentally disturb school children and have them live in fear away from friends and grand parents? Oops, sorry it was to save lives. Because it could have been so much worse, look around the world it's so much worse. Boogie Woogie it could be so much worse. It could be worse or it could be better. How about it could have been better.

What cycle of PCR test are we using to the determine there is a case?
How many people are asymptomatic? Why don't we know? What happened to our annual influenza deaths our pneumonia deaths? What is the point of these vaccines if they don't prevent further spread of covid?

Plan? There is no plan - they are making it up - it's a comedy routine. The entire lump of humanity in the public service should resign in shame.
You and they should really leaving thinking, argumentation and policy to people who can still think.

Not only is the Labor government incompetently managing hotel quarantine, it is wasting hundreds of millions of dollars.

The Victorian government has, since February, paid as many as 550 hotel quarantine workers their full salary of at least $75,000 a year, despite them not working a single day on site.
The government has also contracted hotels into the quarantine program and paid them millions for the service before cutting them out of the scheme without the sites hosting a single guest.
With several Melbourne quarantine hotels not receiving returned travellers as the government works to improve their ventilation, about 200 staff are on “standby” awaiting their reopening, which for most hotels will not occur until next month.
A further 280 employees have been idle since February but are scheduled to return to work at the Stamford Hotel in the CBD when it reopens to travellers later this week, a spokeswoman for COVID Quarantine Victoria (CQV) confirmed.
About 60 workers are receiving full salaries to act as back-up staff in case a team must be pulled out of a hotel, such as if an outbreak occurs.
Government jobs in hotel quarantine range from administrative to clinical care roles, with workers paid annual salaries starting from about $75,000 to $120,000 and above.

You’ll need to give me more details about caths claims
We have gotten some extra beds over 4 years which has helped a bit.
Multiple studies have shown that gp type patients aren’t the issue, although there is some emerging data that paediatric are coming in sicker because they did not get gp review (for the reason you state)

I’ll reply for the sheep “but if they don’t get paid they’ll sue for unfair dismissal - are you dumb?”

Epstein is slimy and disingenuous (there's a surprise).
He lived through our lockdowns and knows there is no comparison between the suffering victorians endured vs anywhere else in aus - regardless of the numeric amount of breaches.
He also knows NSW has taken by far the most travelers and that Vic didn't take travelers for many months in that period.

But no- Epstein is no longer personally affected so its back to playing politics for the shapeshifter.
I knew, Millie, (thanks Chief waaaay more apposite than Drewie) that your true colors would shine through eventually. I get you wouldn't recognise an accomplished journo from the dregs at Newscorpse, Sky et al as the latter is where you mine most of your blather, but your personal impugning of Raf Epstein is shameful. He has a long distinguished journalistic career as an investigative journalist based in many countries and has two Walkley Awards as recognition for his professionalism as a journo.

I know it's embarrassing for you when you get shown up for reprising reactionary disinformation but your "slimy" comment says more about you than Epstein.

Newsflash. Most Victorians do. Morgan research has demonstrated it time and again. It's just you mix with people born with a silver spoon up their clackers and don't want their privileged life to change.

Don't have to read past your first 7 words words to know you are misinformed.

How much was he affected anyway? I'm sure his pay still went in every cycle.

Well we better believe Morgan research then! 🤣 Thank you for sharing the results from 6 months ago as well.

She was just boasting how much money Danny had put into infrastructure works including public transport, roads and hospitals.

Show us your plan then muppet instead of just pelting popcorn from the cheap seats.
You are a parasite.

$759mil to be announced in the upcoming budget to fix the healthcare system. Personally don't think that will be enough, but need to see more of a breakdown of where that money will go.

It's never been about lack of funding. It's about competent governance.

For example the government threw $18.7 million to upgrade the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system for triple zero emergency calls. It has crashed multiple times leading operators to resort to pen and paper to take down emergency details, putting lives at risk.

Ambulance response times are at their worst since 2016-17 and Ambulance Victoria has instigated emergency protocols – where patients can be instructed to take taxis to hospital instead of waiting for ambulances – three times more this year than in the previous two years combined.

Patients with heart attack symptoms and spinal injuries are being forced to wait in ambulances outside hospitals for as long as five hours in what paramedics and the Australian Medical Association have described as a deadly public health emergency.
The association’s Victorian emergency medicine specialist Sarah Whitelaw said some physicians believed the system was at its worst point in three decades.

The media release says:

$266 million in Ambulance Victoria to support them with things like additional triage nurses, an expansion to secondary triage services and non-emergency patient transfers.

$204.3 million investment will bolster Ambulance Victoria’s resources through programs like Telehealth, and will deliver ongoing operational improvements across the state.

$89 million to boost capacity and drive improvements and support flow through our busy emergency departments.

Looks to be spread across a range of current issues
