I think this is only the fourth time a side has led by 100 pts at half-time.

I think Essendon led North by 100 pts in the mid 80s and I'm sure Brisbane led Freo by over 100 several years ago. I'm not sure of the other instance.

good point.
what message does that send to your list that after 6 rounds you wont be playing your best side. after about 3/4 of the season or when you cant mathematically make the 8 i think its acceptable, but you should always convey a never give in attitude. wallaces actions this week did not do that.

They're not putting up with it. I just drove down Spencer Street and I've never seen that many people leaving the ground at half time. I was picking someone up from the station and they thought the game was over, there were that many people leaving. Luckily for her she didn't ask the Richmond supporters who won.
