Bolt is not a reporter.
He is not a journalist, he has no credentials.
He is a commentator, nothing more, nothing less. And as such he is not held to the same rules as real journalists.
Therefore, he cannot be trusted.

Would you trust anyone that you didnt know personally?

It's a fair question, but, do you have anything in particular that you would like for them to spend money on? You can't just stand on a street corner handing out hungies. They will suffer just like the rest of us.

1. Relief for families and temporary workers that are going without.
2. Support for victims of domestic abuse (up 75% since isolation started).
3. Extra funding for research and development of a vaccine .

For starters...

But an interesting article, nonetheless.

Always good to learn and improve.

No club can win it all.
Pretty honest and balanced assessment. Only one slight bit of angst towards Collingwood that was pre the 2017 review, but he was more critical towards StKilda and especially the AFL. Although a redundancy occurred Rendell comes across more as departing footy.

How do you know they haven't?

True. There is the possibility that they are melting all the gold in the vatican to help humanity through this, but are keeping it hush.

You’d be living a sad life if you had no trust in people.
But saying that, it’s easier to trust those who have to be responsible to an authority for their actions.
Thats why I don’t trust a single thing “reported“ on social media platforms. Nothing but peoples biased views with zero responsibility for the consequences.

i said that i have no trust in people that I havent met in person. Well that's not strictly true. To me, life is a spectrum. I'm more inclined to believe what some people are saying when compared to others. I tend to want to know who they work for. Where they get their money. I like to know what motivates them. I like to know the basis of their statements.... the proof. I like to know their history. Have they been accurate in the past. As far as Andrew Bolt rates, I can't give him a pass on any of them.

Another ones of those stories where at least 10 clubs fit the bill, but surprise surprise, the answer is collingwood.
I don't mind a story about Collingwood. I got to know that Rendell was leaving and that the club knew they had benn using the wrong criteria to select players. The only thing worse than being talked about all the time is not being talked about at all.

I think similar. I'd be more worried if they weren't learning from mistakes. You could make an argument that he's talking about it now, not only to raise his profile for another job, but because what he's saying wont upset collingwood people. You know when people realise that they'll never get another job in the industry when they dish out on their former clubs. Of course, you could also argue that he realises that he's in retirement and is doing just that...

I think the government have gone too far with some of their subsidies and payments, and the likes of free child care should be means tested. Taxpayers will be paying for this virus for a long time. Would not be surprised to see franking credit refunds ditched by the government despite it being one of the key issues in their last election win.

I’m a shareholder and I have no issue with the abolition of franking credits. It’s a nice perk but essentially a taxpayer handout for those wealthy enough to buy shares.
