Huh...? you went somewhere? :p

Nah, wb!
With a little bit more than a month to go before the wiz cup kicks off, its probably about time this board began to stir from its offseason slumber!

Welcome back mate

Now you can take the pressure of the captaincy of the WCM from me ;)

and maybe bring some common sense back to the Warriors team!!!!

Hope you enjoyed your trip

England and France kick ass and Im going back asap!

Lucky bastard. Hopefully i'll be heading over there again after the Footy season. Did you go anywhere else? I hope you stopped by Amsterdam, and got a taste for some of the local "coffee" shops. I really want to see Italy and Germany next time.

5 years ago today I was in France. I loved the place - and the people there were great, dispite the stereotype label the French have.

I agree with no1bankteller - we should get a Jod's Lonely Planet Guide to Travelling.

Ohh the memories....

Five years ago well almost... I was travelling for three months through LA, NYC, TOronto, Cuba, UK, Spain (and Ibiza), Germany, Croatia and Hong Kong....

My next 3 month odyssey is probably still two years away :-(. Then its South America here I come :-)))

Welcome back Jod. The travel bug is a harsh bitch mistress, and now you've been bitten you'll never get enough of it.

Banky, what are you intending to do in South America? I've always had an ambition to go there - I'll have to see Macchu Picchu before I drop off the twig.

And heres me, No further east than Corrigin(not far from Perth:P) No further South than Albany(which is quite hard to beat but) and no further north than Perth:( Also no further West than Perth.

And judging by the BFWCPOTY and Hottest 100, it'll probably get finished around October 2009 ;)

Which would probably still be out earlier than the next edition of the Lonely Planet Guide to London.

Cheers all...it was totally awesome! I mean it really is an experience when you are standing in two of the worlds oldest cities. Seeing things like Notre Dame Cathedral (where quasimodo lives :D), the Tower of London, the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumph, Big Ben etc etc etc

Seeing the Reds play at Anfield, Leeds United at Elland Road, seeing Yorkminster Abbey, a building that has stood for hundreds and hundreds of years. Being in York which is actually a huge fort, I mean the city has an entire wall around it??

As you can see Im still quite excited and I must tell everyone who I meet about what I did. I will spare you lot though as you obviously dont care :D I want to go back as soon as June so the BFWCPOTY and 100 hottest might be a problem this year. Ill see how we go.

BTW enough of the jokes I got both of them done didnt I! :D
