At one point whilst watching my team play Freo last Friday night I did a fist pump because Fyfe got a +6. :o

Haha - I did this too!!

Any news on Birchall? He has been on the pine for a few weeks now and I am working out whether or not he will ever be reliably back in the team...

Ablett's injury appears as though it will take longer than anticpated to heal. At least another 2 - 3 weeks.

This creates a huge dilemma.

Hmm..it may not be worth while trading Ablett back in (for those of us who traded him out) until after GC's bye if he's going to miss another 3 weeks. It's kind of convenient actually, as it gives Magner/Greene time to fully max out before trading Ablett back in.

My weakest mid with Ablett out is Magner, so I'm not too fussed.
Lenny Hayes has been terrific.

Wish I could say the same for my forward line.

He sure has. One of my better initial selections. Someone here was trying to tell me the other day that Hayes is not a keeper, but his average has been improving week by week. 106.6 ATM, wouldn't be surprised if it ends up above 110 if he plays a full season.

His first 2 games were average for him ( around 90 ) then he averaged 118 for the next 3. :D:thumbsu: He's already averaging 107.

At 382K there was never a risk as far as I was concerned.

Lyon confirms that Sandilands will miss this week against Gold Coast. Pretty shocking news for coaches that went Mumford > Sandilands.

I'll say, makes me feel a little bit better about going Mumford>Kruezer

*until Kruezer get a visit from the General this week*

Guy McKenna now reckons Gaz is a chance next week with 'almost full movement back in his knee quicker than expected' or something like that.

Go to the DT talk site and check the twitter section :thumbsu:

There really should be a 'general soreness/rested' thread too, as there is no real place for this, but DT talk is reporting that Judd and Waite are likely to be the only DT relevant Carlton players being rested.
