Scotland out for three weeks after I traded him in on friday night!

Same here. And at the last minute I changed my decision to trade Magner to Robinson and instead trading Morris to Scotland. FFS.

Waters to get weeks for his high bump on lions player

didnt attempt to go for the ball, feet off the ground and bumped the head

Traded Mohr for Enright over Waters and Scotland this week.

Enright late omission. Wanted to break something.

Now Scotland out for three, and Waters facing weeks.

Win?

Finally some luck, I had scotland in side all week, but decided in the end to pull trigger on greene to boyd two weeks early.

Also Waters owners to finally get some pain (love him as an eagle, but he's killed me in dt this year, i steered clear as doubted he would be used as an outlet)

At least waters has reached premo prices and will be a straight swap for any rnd 11 defender (not that there are many good ones) in round 12....

So he made us all money, and better yet was pumping out top 7 defender premo scores while he did.

Let's face it, he's as much a back premium as anyone.

So you comfortable with using up trades on premiums?

No I'm not, but he's bloody popular so I doubt it hurts my ranking that much. (This is what planning out trades is for, meaning you have enough to deal with LTIs etc. which are inevitable. Waters was always a suspension risk. We all just jumped on board because his starting price was waaaay too cheap for how many points he is capable of scoring and hoped he'd survive 7 weeks + and he did better than that) Just means it's another tough decision we all have to make which gives you a chance to get ahead of everyone else. Think of it as an opportunity! :D

You had to know that the week before the bye rounds started would be when injuries strike, didn't you

Scotland and Pendles will both be adding two extra zeroes on top of my bye round zeroes. Shaw and Swan will also be fighting against injury, and none of Malceski/Brennan/Ellis/Hargrave/Adams are certainties to get picked even when there's no bye and they are fit.

I can't believe how over the moon I was on Sunday morning to be looking at a PB on Sunday. Waters and Scotland were bad, then Pendles put the icing on the cake. I guess the Byes will help out injuries. Most of the backline injured players will return soon within 2-3 weeks though (Hepp, Carazzo, Scotland, Shaw, etc)

I was ready for Dr Dream team to beat me, but I had Ablett for Captain and he had Pendlebury. :)
Its nothing if not unpredictable.

Damn Pendles. The only chance I have over taking people is if Swan misses this week. Hopefully he does.
