How exactly does a player in rehab for an ankle injury **** his shoulder
Apparently, Dean Cox was casually tossing a tennis ball around at the time.

Its best to give him a game or 2 in the WAFL to test the foot out fully before coming back. Plus there is no fitness like match fitness. If he played AFL and someone else gets injured then he is forced to run out a full one. Should always come through reserves after a long lay off.Hasn't darling been building fitness for weeks now? Couldn't he come into afl side blow it out 3qtrs and sub off?

Tunbridge. Gets a game, looks pretty good, won't play again for the year. And will probably get cut post-season.
Football's a cruel game.

If you want cruel talk to Moribito.![]()

If you really want cruel think back to our own Brad Smith. Recruited to play full forward for us in 05/06 but done his knee twice and never got to play a game. He could have been a premiership player.
I like the fact we still employ him. Didn't he kick 100+ in the WAFL before we drafted him?
Did it 3 times iircI like the fact we still employ him. Didn't he kick 100+ in the WAFL before we drafted him?

I remember my dad is a subi fan an took me to the numerous games and grandfinals... fun fact i was there when priddis won the simpson medal !did it in the 2 years prior to us drafting him and one later on. 2 years after his second recon from memory. He was a major part of the reason rookie list rules were changed for mature age players. We wanted to rookie list him but the afl wouldn't allow it at the time. Such a pity.
Travesty. Hopefully he loses the game on purpose for them.
Murray Newman is a test so he could play in the WAFL this week.
Good to hear that Newman is back playing this week or very soon!
Now if he can break his way into the team later in the year... wowee lookout!
Would love him at the feet of Kennedy, Darling, Naitanui and working in tandem with Hill, Lecras and Cripps - allows them all to spend more time in the midfield or as the spitter!
Highly UnlikelyIs there room in the side for Muzz with Hill and Cripps holding their place?
Highly Unlikely
Still don't get what everyone here see's in Newman
Bloke is barely on our list
When has he showed any of those traits? He's skilled, can get a lot of the ball, and is capable of playing forward too. What's not to get excited about when the club is willing to keep him on the list while he's in jail?
