Hi Everyone,
This is another one of my strange suggestion that I have adopted from the NBA... It is just something I'm throwing out there.
When the Phoenix Suns were trying to persuade Michael Finley to sign with them, they asked all the Phoenix Suns fans to submit short letters to the club website explaining to Michael why they want him here and what we can offer him. They then took all these letters to Finley when they met with him and his agent.
The thing that (most) athletes want is to be loved by their fans and supported by their community... Something like this could make Chris Judd already feel at 'home' as soon as he arrives. Maybe we could try a similar thing.
If everybody would like to write a short note to Chris, explaining why he would love it at the Bombers, we could try and replicate the Suns technique. And if this manages to gain some momentum, perhaps someone here on the forum with links inside the club, could make them aware of it...
*Note: Finley did not end up signing with the Suns, the whole experience highlighted how very greedy he was as he went to the club that gave him the most money...
However, I don't beleive Judd would be like this...
It may not work, but it can't hurt to have a go... We may even come up with some great approaches or spins that the EFC haven't considered...
MODS: I may need help from you deleting the idiotic posts from non-essendon fans and trolls... Merv has the 'Consensus' cruising along at the moment and he would be of great assistance...

.... it would be better for us in the long run just to build up our up and coming midfielders paddy and gumby are players that dont come around very often and we could build our side around them in years to come. hope judd enjoys and strives at his new club my guess carlton
