Ins and Outs for round one ?

My usual rantings re the Bombers is their sprinting.BUT last night the kids were terrific and added the speed that has been lacking .
So would it be fair to say Watson and Welsh may find it hard to play round one ?

If watson doesn't play it will be an outrage has the potenial to be a Kerr/Mitchell type player is a monster around stoppages

Don't know where you picked Watson from, he's one of our best mids, our best clearance player and will most definately be playing rd1 unless injuries prevent him doing so.

Welsh on the other hand is small possibility, but will still probably play.

knights loves both jobe and woosha so they will be in.

4 less people on the bench means that 14 from last night won't be playing. that's hard to believe really. but i guess they would be dick, chartres, gumby, magin, myers, pears, lonergan, CJ, atkinson, JJ, pev, reimers, houli and hocking.

that leaves bendigo with a pretty strong vfl team

Welsh should get a game if fit he's a great leader and we need good leaders in this younger Essendon side.

It's too early to be talking about ins and outs for round 1.

There's still 3 matches for players to prove themselves and unfortunately, for injuries to occur.

Right now, I'd say there's probably about 30 guys with a chance, possibly more.

I like that team but Ramanauskas for Dyson. Johnson & Lovett-Murray the other 2 on the pine.

Dyson is Knights lovechild and as you know he has said he will be giving Dyson alot more opportunities so I can't see that swap happening.

Rama is a very good player, but if he wants to get back into the 22 he'll have to get his fitness back up to scratch first, we all know Knight's policy.

Dyson is Knights lovechild and as you know he has said he will be giving Dyson alot more opportunities so I can't see that swap happening.

Rama is a very good player, but if he wants to get back into the 22 he'll have to get his fitness back up to scratch first, we all know Knight's policy.

He played for the seniors in the intra game and played well so one would think he would be a good chance come round 1. I wouldn't say it is a matter of getting back into the 22 as it is not even round 1 yet.

Welsh should be an automatic selection every week. The hate heaped on this guy on this board is epic during the season proper. Yet he is probably the best possession to a lose player out of our backline.
