Adcock (61), Rockcliff (60) and Mummy (0 - no emergency) hurt the most. Throw in the mediocrity of Dusty and Broughton and I just had no hope of pulling a decent score this week.

Includes a Mummy dounut (useless twat), making Pendles captain over Ablett (ouch) and having Clay Smith, Coniglio, Golby (goneski on Monday night as soon as supercoach opens) and Bugg.


Have Chapman, Selwood and Franklin to come so should get over 2000. Predicting about 2100 which I'll gladly take considering whats happened to my team this weekend. LOL!

Thinking of trading out Golby for Dempsey and making some other trade. My D5-D7 (Hargrave, Golby, Bugg) are killing me and my M5-M6 (Clay Smith, Coniglio) with Shiel and Ledger on the bench are killing me too.

Going to bring in Mcdonald for Coniglio after he has played his 2nd game so I can then have -

Ablett, Pendles, Selwood, Magner, Mcdonald, Shiel (C.Smith, Ledger)

There's just not enough good rookie mids this year to go the 3 premium/3 rookie midfield strategy. I knew that I should have gone for a 4 premium midfield. Damn.

Agreed - aside from Magner there doesn't seem to be any out and out guns like there has been over the past few years.

The sub rule doesn't help at all!! We see guys getting a few halves of games rather than full games - which makes it really difficult for their price to go up.

That said I'm still going with the guns and roses strategy. I've got 200k spare and some potential cheap "premiums" (notice I used quotation marks) in lake and Prop. So it might all be ok in the end...

I'm thinking Mitchell to Greene and Hall to Milera next week, and then when Shiel goes up in price after Round 3, trading him up to Ziebell as I've got about $300k floating around, and as posted above the midfield rookies aren't living up to expectations, and I only have three premiums in there...we'll see. Most likely won't eventuate.
