this morning in THE AGE they had an article about 'bad boys' in football and had a list of all the offences committed by the 'bad boys' in the past couple of years.
Fevola was mentioned in 3 of these, all these last year mind you. but still he mucks around and gives the club a bad name and although he the skill and talent i don't really see him getting far in the club.
my question to you is, is he really worth the trouble and do YOU see him getting very far in the carlton jumper

I think this is a make or break year for Fevola. He has potential but has not followed through.I think he will struggle to keep his place but i also thought Beaumont was crap 2 years ago and he has proved me wrong.I hope Fevola can aswell because good tall forwards are hard to come accross.

Some in the know have suggested that his behaviour around the club in general is just plain rude and immature. I would have imagined a few ex players and senior players have taken him aside and talked to him about what he needs to do but to be still doing it, he obviously still has that attitude that he knows all and people find him amusing. That in itself shows a deeper insecurity and cry for attention but will kill a football career.

An eternal optimist I believe he can turn it around this year and if he knuckles down, look out! He will be quite a handful on the fields. If he doesn't then surely he is gone? The Blues will be mindful of not losing another potential forward star after Hamill's departure after 2000. Just have to trust the club's judgement on this. Surely they will not let the controversies undermine the attitude of the rest of the players and continue to tarnish our image as a no nonsense club prior to all this starting?

You would have to believe that a bad year would see him gone but who can tell with the Blues. They are not predictable at all. If he does fail, then the Blues may rue not using him as trade bait when he was still worth something. Time will tell.
