Has gone from fringe player at a bottom four club to an absolute jet. The guy has been outstanding. I will be honest, I never saw him at the Lions, I take little notice of that team, but the fact he has gone from a fringe player to where he is now? Surely he has claim to the most improved player in the AFL cause I can't think of anyone else that can claim that mantle. I am gobsmacked at what he has produced so far.

Averaged like 20 disposals a game last year at the Lions didn't he? He was a fringe player, but one whom Lions posters felt was close to breaking out.

He's probably improved since moving, but I'd say a lot of the "improvement" simply comes from him having the opportunity to play in the seniors week to week.

gotta be up there. considered dispensible by Leppitsch but has been huge for Pies. Beams a massive loss but this guy, De Goey and Greenwood gotta help soften the blow

Crisp played some really good footy at the end of last year. Has a shit tonne of potential and can't wait to see him when he is really up and going. Just sucks it's at the pies.

He had that opportunity last year, and seemingly for the most part, couldn't break into the side, hence fringe player.

He played 6 games last year FFS. That means he was languishing around in the QAFL or whatever it's called, and couldn't break into a bottom four side...

For someone who pays no interest in what happens at the Lions and isn't even sure what the local called comp is called you sure have some strong opinions about his time up here.
He did 'break into' our side. Was fantastic for the last part of the season. Most fans were sad to see him go.

yep. for anyone that actually knows what they are talking about, they will know how good crisp was late in 2014. I couldn't believe our luck in getting him as part of the beams deal. add de goey to the package by way of the extra draft pick obtained, and i'm already sensing a case of "dayne who?" coming on over the next few seasons

Got a shot and took it and kept his spot last year. Lions fans were excited about his potential and I imagine most were sad to see him go. His output this year has been very similar to the 6 games he played last year.

So basically, no. Good on him but terrible thread.

Come on mate, you can only watch so much footy. Brisbane were and still are irrelevant even this year, you can't expect people to have taken notice of Crisp, we can only see his 6 games, he was described by Lions fans as a fringe player, so we had to go by that...

He certainly wasn't one of their 'untouchables'.

He was described by Lions fans as a fringe player, and your mods quickly hailed this trade as a success.

It seems that it was in fact very poor trading by the Lions if you haven't blinked at what he's produced at the Pies.

No. Todd Goldstein is clearly the best player in the comp/best ruckman since Polly/most improved player of the century. This has already been established in a previous thread. Should probably call the whole thing off now to spare the rest of the competition the embarrassment.
