It has to be Brodie! I'm gonna try and do some detective work when I get a chancePerhaps he is a slightly bitter former player?

Competent in a poor team
If we were any good Dickson would never have played a game and I'd be surprised if he ever plays another senior game
And don't know what you been watching but Jong and Hrovat have proven zero at AFL level, unlike most I don't think playing well at VFL level equats to playing well at AFL level.

FFS! The best we can do is put Goodes onto the rookie list?
We are well and truly stuffed.

Johannisen was 405, Bontempelli was 374 which is excellent for a firstBonty 405.... Yeah Right!!!
Yeah but you are mates with Liam Jones and would have picked him in our firsts.
#nocredibility

No you just don't understand, Dale in this thread and me in the other thread, were not having a go at his opinion, just the way he goes about it with no reasoning behind his calls. And like we both said he is quite happy to call other peoples opinions rubbish and crap and whatever else he comes up with but when it comes to his it's all "hey it's wat I see wif my eyes, just my opinion that's that!!!!"
And that's before you get to the actual content of the post, it was one of the most unbalanced and ridiculous view of the list I've seen. Darleys already a B grader and ahead of Roughy and Clay? Boyd and Bonts are already A graders? The 2014 draftees in 'might make it' but Hrovat, Dickson and Jong absolutely will not. It just can't even be taken seriously and that's even if he could somehow explain the choices, which he can't or won't.
I'm still convinced he's a troll tbh, well I hope he is for his sake.

I never said we'd win a flag in 5 years. Doesn't change that we have some special young talent and a track record recently of decent development. There's a difference between disagreeing on certain young players or your confidence in a recruiter and an obvious love of sinking the boots in and not supporting your opinion with viable arguments. I've shown previously in this thread I'll respond to people assessing players differently. Don't call me a defender. And here in proves my point TempleKelvington that I made in another post.
"Defenders" are not interested in hearing any opinions other than those that paint the picture that we will win a flag in the next 5 years.
If people have those opinions they are howled down and ignored.
There have been some decent and balanced opinions in the thread.
Because you disagree with them no need to ignore them !
Pelchin says: from this article: http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-12-04/pelchens-analysis
The pass mark for a team is acquiring 2-3 players of AFL standard each year. Secure more and your performance graph is trending upwards. Obtain less and the pressure builds on everyone at the club for future seasons.
Statistical analysis shows that the AFL premiers since 2000 have consisted of an average of 12 rating one and two players (also known as A or B-grade) with the remaining 10 players being a rating three (a C-grade) or below.
Some, like the Brisbane Lions team of 2002 and Geelong of 2009 had 15 'rating 1-2' players – representing the two strongest premiership teams of the past 15 years.
So, not only are talented players sought by every club but, as obvious as it might sound, elite players directly equate to premiership success.
It’s often suggested that the bottom six players in a team win Grand Finals when, in fact, it is the first six players who normally decide the outcome (despite the fashionable attraction for some people to suggest the alternative)."

not sure exactly what the gradings mean, but A grade is the best, so lets say:
A elite
B quality
C footsoldier
D+ fringe/dependeable hack
Looking ahead 2 years I see: (Not including our oldest players, and with a certain amount of wish fulfilment)
A: Stringer, Macrae, Bonts, Libba, Boyd
B: Hunter, Wallis, Dal, Crameri
Not enough to make 12 or more A's and B's, and they are exclusively mids and forwards.
Once Murph and Morris go, we have no A or B grade defenders.
I reckon its a pretty good 'A' list, however. If you are going to have five A grade players, midfielders and a key forward are the best kind of A grader to have. My gut feeling is you can probably get away with a lower quality backline if your midfield is star-studded and you can kick a score.
We need to be able to add three A/B grade players to that list to be a serious force. preferable at least 2 of them ball distributing defenders of whatever size. I think you can get away with dour 'stopper' key defenders if they are surrounded by A and B grade ball users.

something tells me you like it thoughLooks suspiciously like mine
I wonder if he will cop a flogging for his opinion![]()

On the list management thread myself and I'm pretty sure MD ranted on about the importance of B graders to the team, I focused pretty much on KPPs though and how the KPPs of the last 10-15 premiership sides were ranked, some sides didn't have A grade KPFs or KPDs they were just B graders who did their job and played crucial roles for their team. Hawthorn would have to have the best A grade talent up forward over the last 15 years to have won a flag with only Brisbane who could match them for quality and perhaps Essendon with Lucas and Lloyd.Pelchin says: from this article: http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-12-04/pelchens-analysis

Why not take a potential A grader in Bonti or Stringer and turn them into an A grade forward? So if we have a potential A grade KPF in Boyd why doesn't Dalrymple try and find a great complementing type who could develop into a B grader who is crucial for our structure?
This is how I see the list so is there light or not ?
Might make it = Roberts Honey Talia, Redpath, 2014 draftees
Looks suspiciously like mine
I wonder if he will cop a flogging for his opinion![]()
I'm interested to know why you made such a big deal about the possibility of Talia leaving during the second half if this season if you only think he's a player that might make it? Why be so bothered that he was considering leaving?
We dont need maybes and couldabeens at this club to take it forward.
We will never agree over events which transpired in OctoberThis is how I see the list so is there light or not ?
Mature players = Murphy Boyd Mino Morris Picken
A grade(guns)= Boyd Bonts Stringer Libba Mcrae
B grade = Wallis Dahl Crameri Wood JJ Hunter Darley
C grade = Grant Smith Roughead Stevens Campbell
Might make it = Roberts Honey Talia, Redpath, 2014 draftees
Won't make it = Hrovat Prudden Dickson Fuller Cordy Jong
So still nearly ten blokes on list IMO that are simply not up to it and never will be so still plenty work to be done but there is always light
And this list is where I think players will end their careers not where they are now
Wow!!! Just wow
Only a simpleton would think I'm a troll, I've said these things from day one and been consistent.
Regardless what the inflated egos think I don't say things to annoy people I say them coz they are my opinion and last time I checked much like you I'm entitled to it.
But please tell me what "evidence" I can provide for my opinion other than what I see? Is there a stat for looking at footy with both eyes open? Is there one for thinking anyone that pulls on our jumper is the next Ablett?
Do I directly belittle people who for some unknown reason think Hrovat and Jong WILL make it? Show me the evidence that 100% says they will? Other than what YOU see! Show me? Neither have done ZERO to prove they are certain to make it.
Sorry Dickson is simply sh!te and I don't care what people say he isn't a footballers a$$crack
It's like Johnno post 2004 all over again though bar these kids are 3-4 inches taller than what Johnno is and had 200 games less than what Johnno had at that time. Johnno was great and helped propel us up the ladder but he could never win us a prelim. I remember him walking to the goalsquare at the start of the last quarter of the 09 prelim thinking well it rests on his shoulders, he outmarked Fisher and goaled early but he never had another opportunity one out for the rest of that quarter. Why not take a potential A grader in Bonti or Stringer and turn them into an A grade forward?
Or just live with crameri and (maybe grant) as B graders?
We are going to get at least another early pick next year to add to our list too.
I do not think you are a troll, I think you are Brodie Moles who only played 17 games for WBFC
Tory Dickson has played 34 games! and will play more.
Who is the Troll now, simpleton?

You do realize the Pelchin article ends at the lines and the opinion pieceLooks suspiciously like mine
