roughead, Franklin, Parker, Jack.. the list goes on. So overrated... so so overrated. Would be a great player if he could kick it to his team mates with regularity. Better as a small forward.

Roughead not even remotely near the level of Robbie Gray.
Robbie Gray is a game winner and he wants to dominate, I can't say the same of Roughead - overrated for mine.

Robbie Gray is just doing this year - what Gary Ablett has done every year since 2007.
Ablett is Floyd Mayweather like, we all look for others better than him, then we rock up the next year and it's someone else.
I applaud Robbie Grays year, but let's not pretend he is on Ablett's level.

Capable of retrospectively being best player in the AFL right now? Maybe but that would rely on him backing it up next year and a decline in Abletts form. (Ie Ablett being best player in comp in 2007 however wasn't recognised as that until he performed at that level again in 08)

If he can play with this intensity for a couple of years, he will be up there. Can't base a players career on one season.

Well said however how many actual, uninterrupted seasons has he had in his career so far due to injury? This season is probably only his second with a proper pre-season and an injury free season.
