I haven't been miserable about us until this week.

Like, I guess I've expected a rise up the ladder. My concern has always been that rise won't amount to a premiership...

You've done really well. I became miserable almost exactly a year ago. The Hawthorn game where we kicked the first two and were then absolutely pulverised. Most lopsided 45-point loss you'll ever see. There was a slight spike in misery levels after the Dogs game, but now it's the usual resigned acceptance. Our club might be slipping away from us, and the AFL, more each week. As cyberpunk says, it's not sustainable

If I was going to offer any advice to a North supporter it would be to expect nothing. Don’t trust them to perform. They need to gain my trust before I expect anything.

Mate of mine rang ne before the Sydney game. He said I think you blokes can win, should I back them. And he punts big. I told him “**** no”…not against those campaigners. Too professional.

When will we claim a big scalp? Its just been the odd win over the same bottom feeders for six years.

It would be a season of results backed up again the following season. Then you can say "right, this team is legit "
