He's another Ballas -- his mind is as quick as his feet. He's a nice pickup in his own right, and had the talent to hold his spot on his own.... The Kozzie connection is just an added plus.

Small forward with lightning reflexes, elite footy IQ and goal sense to have a real impact when he gets the ball in his hands. He’s in fact a nephew of Eddie Betts and even shown some of his uncle’s aerial X factor this year as well as the trademark goal sense. Has progressed from dominating Under 18s football averaging 21.5 disposals in 10 matches to playing the same number of games at Reserves level kicking 22 goals overall. Represented South Australia against Western Australia this year on a couple of occasions with his three second half goals in the AFL Grand Final curtain raiser his best performance. An All-Australian at Under 16s level in 2019, he’s in the Adelaide Crows Next Generation Academy but has not been prenominated by the Crows and is therefore available in the open Draft.

The dude has a solid build for a small guy. I see shades of Mini Rioli. Hopefully not a Billy Rioli but also maybe mini sized performance cos of his height.......I think he could make it. Smart smalls usually do.

Natural player - him and Bolton and Reid is a nice little combo.
We need all the natural footballers vs athletes we can get. At the moment we have a team of fit guys who can tackle a bit but butcher the ball en masse. You need some genuine class on top of blue collar grunt, and Dudley can provide that.
When I saw him and Reid (and to a lesser extent Bolton) near a contest together, I knew I could breath easier, knowing good things would happen.

JLo wanted more forward craft & that’s what he got, there really no reason to drop him. 2 goals a game from your small forward is 40 goals a season, yes please & the rest of his game will develop.
