That's the problem with rats, isn't it.
Smoke 'em out of one house, they move straight to the next.
Like I said to the other one, stop arguing. It's not carpet bombing.

You're just using this little byplay as an excuse to deflect attention from Palestinian culpability.

Time for you to find a new house then.

Palestinians aren't 'rats'... they aren't vermin to be exterminated, you stupid ****.

You never know anything about any of the topics you get involved in.
All of your learning comes from youtube. You're an ignorant, boring, loser.

There's a reason you have to repeatedly tell people how intelligent you are... It's because you can never display it...

Stop arguing, Schneebly, the wrong words were used and you know it as well as anyone else.
Gaza is copping a hammering, yes, but it is not being carpet bombed. If it was, there wouldn't be any food distribution points, and there certainly would not be any Israeli troops in Gaza. Unless you're suggesting Israel is willing to drop tons of bombs on its own soldiers.

The original point I was making before everyone decided to talk about anything else, was that Palestine has made its own bed, and has the tools to stop it - at any time.

Instead, Palestine chooses to negotiate until they have .. what was the ratio last ceasefire, something like 2000 of their own for a hundred or so hostages released?

It is not the responsibility of the world to step in every time these idiots start fighting again. And if Palestine is concerned at all for its starving children, it needs to give up every single Hamas member still alive. All of them. Every. Last. One.

Trump was one hundred percent correct.
This bullshit has been called out by many better people than me. You should go do other things.

He's gone into another thread to complain about the mods, and how he was thread-banned 'just for calling out Hamas'...
Used it as an example of 'conservatives being silenced'. Just another 'centrist' desperate for victimhood.

Just a boring, ignorant loser.

So I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt and just assume you’re ignorant.

Referring to Jews as rats is one of the most vile racist anti semitic slurs around. Labelling the Palestinians as rats is just as vile. And the comment about “Palestinian culpability” harkens to the “collective guilt” placed on Jews for many things, starting with the death of Jesus. Again completely inappropriate to say, and also completely inappropriate to label Palestinians the same way.

Do that again and it’ll be a report.

So he’s made it about conservatives? Ok

Bit time. Hanoi, as well.

Not by carpet bombing. The bombs weren't "dropped", and they weren't targeted indiscriminately.

Want an explanation as to why Israel isn't being hauled into court for carpet bombing?
Because they aren't.
:tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy:

Want to know why Israel isn't being hauled into the ICC? Because they (with the help of the USA) are openly thumbing their noses at it.

Your semantics aren't doing anything to address the situation. Word play will get you nowhere.

Israeli terror attack included attacking Palestinian Christians. They'd want to be careful here. Maybe this is why they got into conflict with the IDF who was trying to stop them ethnically cleansing the wrong brown people.

"They think they can take my land and force me to leave, but I'm not going anywhere," said Hamdallah Bearat, a retired professor of engineering who has lived in Kafr Malik for most of his life.

For many younger Palestinians, though, the realities of an increasingly restrictive occupation and its economic consequences make life here more difficult by the day.

Gentle leverage by the BBC.....contrasting the resolve of the older generations with the younger without any evidence. Nice work dave and wyre, your handlers will be pleased.

Facts don't count in this thread, Scotland.

... out of interest though, where did those figures come from?

The % destroyed figures came from this thread. Where the poster got them from no idea. The population numbers are just from Wikipedia.

There is plenty of competing information out there. RE: Dresden specifically 6.5 km2 was destroyed (approx 2% of the area of Gaza, 14% of Gaza City by comparison), a quarter of industrial buildings and half of residential buildings were destroyed etc. while other sources say the entire city was destroyed. Casualties were initially claimed to be 200,000-500,000 and are now believed to be 25,000. In any event Dresden was largely targeted over a 3 day bombing campaign so is not really relevant to Gaza which is effectively under siege.

I would not believe a death toll figure that comes from Hamas or the IDF.

Just looking at the amount of damage and restrictions to aid / healthcare it seems unlikely 60k have died and it will be much higher than this

Some estimates have it in the hundreds of thousands now, which looking at the scale of displacement, destruction and starvation is IMO far more likely.

We probably won't have a clearer idea for years, and may never know definitively.

How else will they protect themselves from Israel?

It's like when Putin asks for a completely demilitarised Ukraine.

We know what happens next.

Did you even read what you quoted? You are just cheerleading.

Why on Earth would Israel support the creation of a militarised Palestinian state? Their only motivating factor to do that is if it is a puppet regime with a military that also treats Hamas as an enemy, They are not just going to hand over a territory and say 'that's yours, stock up on nukes and ICBMs if you want' because as you said "we know what happens next". A demilitarised state is a lot easier to capture than a militarised one, but that's a tangential argument to creating a state which is what people still believe this conflict is really about. Why would Israel agree to create a state on territory they currently control to then just invade it? That makes no sense.

There are reasons why the Palestinians would not agree do it either but that wasn't the question.

'Why would Israel agree to allow the Palestinian people self-determination?' is kind of the point of it all though. So long as the Palestinian people remain stateless, lacking self-determination and under military occupation, there will always be some who turn to violence.

There's no real scenario where a Palestinian state develops the military power to invade and occupy Israel the way Israel has done to them either. That's largely a product of long-term support from the US which a State of Palestine would never get.

Why would anyone agree to a "state" if the neighbour with an 80 year history of taking their territory where that neighbour retains military dominance?

The only way that could work is if the EU or NATO guarantee defence of Palestine from Israel, but neither will do that because everyone knows Israel will attack within 2 years.

The obstruction to peace is not militant Palestine, it's militant Israel who will not agree to anything less than Greater Israel with a few million less Palestinians than there are now.

Why do they need to attack Syria whenever they like? Syria doesn't attack Israel and Israel has occupied Syria since the 60's.

Israel wants the right to attack any neighbour whenever they like and nobody is allowed ever to attack them. All while they ethnically cleanse the West Bank and Gaza.

So 1 state solution then for you?
