We must move in different circles. I've never encountered the phrase. Have we any idea what it's supposed to mean?

Take for example THIS week I have heard on tv in one night after hearing it in real life and TV the past month...Master Chef and then Danni M's Rugby b/f talking on the Santo C's Soccer show on SBS.

Have a listen out for it...it is out there...

Bit of a kneejerk reaction this whole thread but at the end of the day we will all be on a level playing field, but one in all in I always say.

My manager has been saying "watch this space" in every meeting we have recently. I want to punch him in the face.

It is what it is, I guess.

LOL that is pretty funny.

The loud guy opposite me says "data migration" in every second sentence during his LOUD conference calls.

it is what it is, i guess.

Hahaha. There's a milliion phrases or terms that are used around here that shit me off. I've only just started to get over my manager fitting "going forward" into every ****ing sentence.

'Going forward' is what it is, i guess.

bandwidth - and this is used in the context "do you have any bandwidth" :D

I know there is no getting around saying 'data migration' if that is what you're talking about, but he says it 2 times the amount necessary, along with regression testing.

You know what shits me, hearing the term "Master Class" everywhere since ****ing Master Chef came on TV.

I've heard data migration but never regression testing. I might drop it into a random sentence today and see if anyone picks up on it.

I still lol when people say 'data dump'.

Also the work I do involves software that we refer to as 'packages'. It took me several months to stop snickering whenever someone asked to look at my package or told me "I'm going to handle Steven's package this week"

:D

"push back" - you need to "push back" - argggggggggg resistence is futile.

Experience. As in your "movie going experience" or your "holiday experience" etc

That's bloody marketing and branding. My god those people make me sick and do you know what else makes me sick?

Collegues who ask Senior Managers questions after they've just given an hour and a half presentation.

Those people are blatant sucks, their questions are boring and they're only doing it for attention seekiing purposes. The result is more blah blah blah non committal waffle from Senior Managers.

arrrrrrrggg make them stop !

;)
