Different definition of club Alex.We don't have voting rights now and they are not part of any future plans.
We can still gain voting rights with one club, as long as the club changes the constitution to allow it to happen.
Not having the right to vote, doesn't mean we are not a real club. It would be nice but we have been a 'real club' since 1991. Even if you don't agree.
Wrt voting rights I have a similar opinion to macca 23 . I'm not a fan of being able to vote for every position but certainly for the majority of members with ovelapping terms. Adds the ability to hand pick some key positions, gives members a say but the overlapping terms also means that you remove the chance of the board being thrown out at every election and thus add stability. However IMO most board members need to hold member elected positions.
