If you don't think we should add additional penalties to serial offenders then that's fine. Everyone has the right to an opinion.

But the bottom line is the penalty for this offence with an early plea is one week. That's a fact.

There were a heap of happy supporters when tom hawkins got 2 for what was a push to the face so now we have to put up with this s**t.

Although Hawkins like Redpath should know the risks, people were generally happy to see Hawkins cop 2 as they can't open their eyes due to bitterness and tall poppy syndrome so this is what happens. The AFL just continue being inept
The cats are at fault also as they should've made a stand by appealing for the good of the game (like the dogs have) although he may not have been successful, I still don't care. You've got to stamp these inept decisions out.

It takes someone like Redpath who no one dislikes for the public to see clearly.
