I voted Tex with the caveat that he will eventually play under a coach who will play him to his strengths instead of trying to make him something he is not. Riewoldt seems to be flourishing under Hardwicks tutelage because he is allowing him to play to his strengths.

Adelaide coaching staff, PLEASE take note.

Honestly it's a tough one because I see them having very similar careers over the next 10 years all things going to plan. I voted for Jack just because I like him more so would rather have him, though Walker would probably do the same job.

I'm expecting Riewoldt to win this poll for what it's worth; there's not enough knowledge interstate about the Adelaide boy yet. Purpose of the thread is bumping ammunition for a year or two down the track.

You mean like the Jack Riewoldt vs James Sellar thread you made yourself look like a massive idiot in? :o

Riewoldt easily now and in the future.

Haha thats why I started my thread about Walker :thumbsu::thumbsu:

Jacks further on in developement, but Walker has a pure nous you don't see often...in anyone.

Left foot 55 metre bombs, right from 60+, snaps on either, his natural footy instinct is unbelievable.

JAck is a pure warrior, and you got to love him, gives his all.

But I take Walkers potential, no knock on Jack.

Ha ha I actually rate Taylor Walker even given my comments to you the other day. Then he dominated on the weekend. Certainly can find the goals.

However the fact is Jack Riewoldt is well ahead of him and just because Walker managed a good game on the weekend means jack (excuse the pun).

Riewoldt 35 goals in 11 games playing on the bottom side speaks volumes. I think you need to remember this kid has never had the quality delivery your mate gets and he will only get better with his side.

You did well to get Walker where you did...but Jack still gets my vote.

You could also validly say that there isn't enough info about Jack in Adelaide.

You get to watch every Adelaide/Port game over here yet there has only been 4 televised Richmond games this year.

Plus I watch most games because I have foxtel so have just as much access as anyone to watch there team perform. Stupid arguement I think these days considering the amount of coverage.

They're 2 different players, Jacks a real natural talent when it comes to the contest and making something out of nothing, where as Walker's a power forward type who can pot them from outside 50. I'd chose Jack just because I love his confidence, and entertainment value, plus i'm biased a bit.

The excuse of Walker playing interestate so nobody knows how good he really is seriously is worn out....everyone knows he's a gun.

Riewoldt for me, just.

Taylor Walker is special. He's going to be better than Jack, even though Jack has really stepped up this year and the fact I rate him as being nothing worse than solid. Jack is going to very good.

Taylor has something special about him though. The way he moves, runs and kicks. Isn't he 19?

Reiwoldt is starting to genuinely arrive as a gun, walker is showing signs of his considerable talent. At different stages of development with very different strengths, reiwoldts contested marking, footy nous and reading of the play is quite incredible, TW moves incredibly well for a big bloke, very agile and when he starts potting them from outside 50 either foot its very exciting. right now JR has him covered, in the future, depends on how walker develops bc JR is and will be a gun

Taylor Walker Age: 20yr 1mth Games: 22 Born: April 25, 1990 Height: 192cm Weight: 97kg

Jack Riewoldt Age: 21yr 7mth Games: 57 Born: October 31, 1988 Height: 193cm Weight: 87kg

Interesting that Jack is a year and a half older but weighs 10kg less despite being taller.
