Whitfield has the running ability to be a beast, but Macrae is likely to be worth more to the Bulldogs than Whitfield will be to the Giants.

Jager was the best if you include everyone,

Wines was a ready made AFL player who was always going to have a bigger impact in his first few seasons over Macrae/Mayes, Would still take Macrae and even Mayes over Wines if looking long term.

The draft was an amazing draft, Jager, Crouch (Both MD's) Whitfield, Macrae, Wines, Mayes, Grundy, Daniher etc and might even be as good as the 2001 superdraft!
I'm sure every club is very happy with their picks but the only player I'd take ahead of Macrae who is a midfielder is Jager.
