His family were huge Blues fans before he was drafted.

I knew I would be right eventually! No one at Richmond fought too hard to keep him. Could be because he's not a team player, or just because he's ******* annoying.
Congrats lol
That's the interesting one, reports coming left, right and centre that he is a lock to go to Carton, but the cap space available is very questionable. He has been on good coin at the saints and the rumour is we more or less pushed him out the door. We are try to do this with a couple of players apparently. Means we have significant cap space to target players we need. The club does have a love affair with some bloke named Ben on the Gold Coast. I think if we could unite the twins it would be worth as much from a marketing point of view as anything.
Wonder what type of cash he will be on from Carlton?

Saints seem to want him out, but I don't think we've ever seen a free agent move from one club to another for a significantly lower salary that he was on.
Given it was reported he was sitting slightly over $600k, I would be shocked if Carlton could conjure up more than around $450.
You'd assume that would lead to St Kilda matching, SOS dealing with a club he's angry at and Carlton without a second round pick this year currently... Sounds like a bit of spice for the trade radio fellas to bang on about. But not convinced anything will actually come of it.
it’s really strange. Interesting to see who you resign. McGovern is out of contract and on massive coin.He is, but most of that coin in future years has already been assigned to Walsh/Harry/Curnow/Cripps who move onto their new deals starting next year.it’s really strange. Fair. I would be happy to keep him. Not worth us letting him go for a mid second round pickHe is, but most of that coin in future years has already been assigned to Walsh/Harry/Curnow/Cripps who move onto their new deals starting next year.
I like Gresham at his best, but our rehab room has already been at breaking point for the last 4 years, not sure there is space for another.
It's between Blues and Hawks. Last I heard heard it was 50/50. Things may have changed though as this was a couple of months ago. That's the interesting one, reports coming left, right and centre that he is a lock to go to Carton, but the cap space available is very questionable.

Recent mail has the Blues cooling on him. It's between Blues and Hawks. Last I heard heard it was 50/50. Things may have changed though as this was a couple of months ago.
I would think they would be all over him. He would actually be bloody unreal in that team. Perfect for that forward lineRecent mail has the Blues cooling on him.
Not sure anyone is going to be falling over themselves to sign him with the form he’s shown this year.I would think they would be all over him. He would actually be bloody unreal in that team. Perfect for that forward line
True but you would back yourself in to get him back to his best. Because his best can win you gamesNot sure anyone is going to be falling over themselves to sign him with the form he’s shown this year.
McGovern is on 800. You think you would resign him for half thatWould be icing on the cake, but really unsure how have the salary to sign him. Would think McGovern/JSOS are a bigger priority.
At least a couple of Matthew Owies, Jesse Motlop and Corey Durdin have been regulars in your 22 for most of the last two years, none of those players are half as good as Gresham.Do not want at Carlton. List clogger.
Agreed. He just missed the opportunity to really land himself a thumper.True but you would back yourself in to get him back to his best. Because his best can win you games
Band 2 or 3 probably, depending where he landsSo what band do people think?
Get the saints a second?
Would be better off keeping him for thatBand 2 or 3 probably, depending where he lands
More likely 3 the way his season has gone
What's band 2 draft pick range? Pick14-18? Or pick 19-25? Or mid 2nd rounder that's 26-32?Band 2 or 3 probably, depending where he lands

Band 2 is end of first round, so 19 before they get pushed back furtherWhat's band 2 draft pick range? Pick14-18? Or pick 19-25? Or mid 2nd rounder that's 26-32?
