Clearly you didnt read what was quoted.29 year old injured ruckman for pick 9 and 23 year old Stringer? That makes no sense.
North trade: pick 4, pick 21 with either next year 2nd round pick or Goldstein
Dogs trade: pick 9 and stringer

He's under contract so we can play hard-ball at the trade table. I suspect we'd need overs to consider trading him.
String is talented yes, but our forward line is probably the only well functioning part of our team, Goals 2017: Daniher 60+, Hooker 40+, Fantasia 40+, Tippa 35+, Stewart 20+, Green 18.Essendon could jump in with our first pick. (11+ depending on finals).
Would not be relied upon to do it all at Essendon due to us having a forward line. He would also be able to push up into the middle for bursts.

I don't think North have enough available picks to get him. I doubt the Doggies would accept Goldy and 21, which is the best we would do as we would want our first for either the Kelly trade or picking up a top player.
The club would need it's mind changed to keep him. It's not just Jake wanting out, the club wants him out.Absolutely no way he goes interstate with his 2 kids living here.
Also no way we would trade him for unders when he is contracted for next year. We would back ourselves in to change his mind
Jake is no Buddy. No one is. Franklin is unique.Buddy Franklin made a decent career in spite of having concrete hands.
Sorry misread it.Clearly you didnt read what was quoted.

GWS.
Take it to the bank
All good mate.Sorry misread it.
Isn't it Melbourne or bust for Lever ? More importantly good luck tonight. At least the dogs will have some more currency if Lever chooses them.
Has family in Melbourne, but good try.
Would like a top 10 pick and the fact that he is contracted might mean we could get it. I think he is worth it because he is 23 and hasn't peaked but market forces will determine it. Like a house auction get extra bidders and you get more than the reserve. All good mate.
What do doggies supporters think he's worth?
Who knows with Jake. I wouldnt rule out Collingwood either. But Murphys law says he will pick the team with the worst draft picks to offer.Isn't it Melbourne or bust for Lever ? More importantly good luck tonight.

Not 'once', 'if' - and that hasn't occurred thus far. I wouldn't believe every rumour around trade time - the BF strike rate is about 4-5% which isn't that much worse than the collective of journos covering our game.Once the Dogs have announced Stringer on the table, it's hard to back-track and play hard-ball only for him to have to stay.
So do majority of GWS players.
Means absolutely nothing. but good try.
All good mate.

Gets most of his goals from snaps and on the run. If he can improve his marking he would be hard to stop.
Here's the market:
1. Essendon - $1.75
2. Collingwood - $3.25
3. St kilda - $5.00
4. Hawthorn - $9.00
