What's his trade value? late first - early second?
Probably about a 3rd round pick at the moment. He's more valuable to Western than he is to anyone else.

You are kidding if you don't think he'd fetch more than that, he's an AA player.
Name a player who's improved under Bevo. Exactly.
I don't think I'd want him at west coast. One AA does not a career make. His laziness would probably make the rest of west coast even lazier. Also seems too stupid to play AFL.

One AA is better than the vast majority of players will ever achieve. His value is low right now but no chance he would go for a third rounder.
Would you prefer Darling or Stringer in your team? He's no guarantee to ever achieve another. I'd be surprised if he gets near it again. He's a fading star at the age of 23.

Toby McLean, Jack Macrae, Lachie Hunter, Jack Redpath, Jordan Roughead, Easton Wood, Jason Johannisen.Name a player who's improved under Bevo. Exactly.
Didn't he play up on his misso, and she then got stuck into a team-mate of his?
...that won a flag.He was terribly overrated like the entire dogs team
The team that went from 7 wins to 19 wins and a flag within 24 months?Name a player who's improved under Bevo. Exactly.
Natural progression and superb development from B McCartney. The team that went from 7 wins to 19 wins and a flag within 24 months?
Sounds like he got cucked by JJ. I think his game partly revolved around being the alpha male, so this has had a deleterious effect on him.

I understand you are being generous to Stringer but his broken leg was long before he was drafted. His AA year was post injury and he was fine, but played alongside Boyd, Crameri, Redpath and Dickson, all of whom were in form.Going through a bad patch in my opinion, but the criticism of his lateral movement and agility is well founded- it is horrible. As a 15/16 year old, he was Robbie Gray or Steve Johnson like in the way he moved, but now (since his leg break which was brutal), he has to rely on his acceleration and knowledge- which is still very good. I fully expect him to bounce back and be an elite player.
People are writing him off as a "one trick pony", but 24 months ago, he was an All Australian aged just 21. He is an incredibly talented player, who has had a down last fifteen months- which has coincided with a family breakdown. Still a very effective player and will bounce back. As for trade value- I don't expect it to ever happen- but I would be happy to part with a top 7 pick for him, or a combination of Hopper/Smith and something very decent. You don't find talent like him every day.
Libba was playing career best football in the VFL a couple of weeks back.

This thread is about Stringer, please keep your posting on topic. Whataboutism really shows the quality of a poster.
My posts were about Stringer. You brought up Darling for no reason at all. This isn't the bay. If you want to get into shit fights, go there.
