We didnt go after Cameron for shits and giggles...Way too much rubbish thrown at Jenkins. It's ridiculously over the top.

I wouldn't even do a straight swap minus the 3rd rounder. We need Jenkins more than we need Aish.Jenkins + 3rd rounder = Aish. Deal done.

You can't compare Beams deal and Aish
1. Beams was one of collingwoods best players
2. Beams was still contracted to collingwood
3. Aish is out of contract , so giving up our first and second like you suggested is far fetched
Nah, Jenkins is warming the seat for a real CHF, Aish is a 200 gamer.I wouldn't even do a straight swap minus the 3rd rounder. We need Jenkins more than we need Aish.
At this point Aish is nothing more than the potential seen in him. Jenkins is also a two hundred gamer.Nah, Jenkins is warming the seat for a real CHF, Aish is a 200 gamer.

Correct. Was just about to acknowledge his age would restrict him to that.Probably 150 gamer. His age is against him getting to 200.
Just on that point I think if we hadn't lost our early draft picks for those two years it would be likely CEY would have been delisted, the same goes for Jaensch. If those two continue to improve we could have come out of the sanctions really well.It would have been so easy for the club to turn CEY over ......so much patience for a midfielder is unusual ....glad the club did.
Jenkins and our first pick at the end of the year (10-14)..... Not ideal for Brisbane but they would have to take that and move on you'd imagine..
Aish and B Crouch would absolutely cement our midfield for the next 10 years
You haven't been screwed as much as we have we are pretty flexible in trade weekFair point, it's what i'd angle for... it definitely doesn't feel right to give two draft picks up for Aish when he's out of contract and we've been screwed over in the past with this.
What worries me is that it's that audacious and unpredictable it might just happen. Re Tippett and franklin.Surely Freo have more pressing needs than an inside mid such as Danger.
They should be all over Rance, and any key forward they can get their hands on
Thank Christ your not on our recruiting staff!
In your scenario your suggesting we wheel Pods out for the next 2 years because he is the only other PROVEN KPF on our main list, and who knows if Ramsay will ever measure up yet, and even if he does it will be 2 years before he is in anyway developed. Currently we need Jenkins far more than we need Aish unless somewhat miraculously we can find a fully developed and ready to go KPF.
The big difference there was Beams still had a year to go on his contract, as well as the fact that he's an all Australian player.Getting screwed over in the past doesn't come into it. No team has been more screwed over than Brisbane in the 2013 trade period when five high draft picks walked out for home states and Brisbane got no where near correct value.
Look at Dayne Beams going home to Brisbane last year, cost Brisbane (roughly) pick 8, 25 and the highly promising Jack Crisp.
Aish will cost us our first and second picks minimum, Port will do that in a heartbeat. If Danger walks out, expect that compo pick to be in play as well. Aish is a rare talent, clubs will pay to get him.
Aish walking is a big reason why we should support the northern academies because the four northern teams suffer unfairly from go home factor because they have a much higher % of interstaters on their lists.

They don't grow on treesNah, Jenkins is warming the seat for a real CHF, Aish is a 200 gamer.
Every team wants a decent JenkinsThey don't grow on trees
Upgrading Jenkins will be extremely expensive in terms of dollars plus what we have to give up.
Not that we shouldn't try to.
I highly doubt port would do that considering they didn't even give up a straight swap of the first rounder for polec, I'd be really disappointed if the club couldn't get a better deal done than giving up 2 first rounders
I'm not sure why people are mentioning Polec. Polec had done nothing at Brisbane, and was perennially injured. Aish is in his second year after having a very impressive rookie season in which he played 21 of 22 games (5 more than Polec managed in his 3 years at Brisbane). I agree that two first rounders would be on the high side, but if Aish comes to Adelaide via a trade, it's not going to be cheap.
