2 young KPP backman who have shown alot over 2008. Public perception has the Melbourne player in front but for those wondering what happened to their danger-man up forward against Carlton, just ask Jamison.

I tend to follow the rule that "your only as good as your weakness" or in this case "your only as good as your flaws/bad games" and from what I've seen of both of them this rule has Jamison the clearest favourite.

Purely I am asking for an explanation behind your answer as I see no reason that Garland>Franklin except for "ohhh ummm Garland beat franklin coz he was his direct oppoenet and n0ne of his teeem4tes helped 'im", which we all know is the biggest load of garbage.

Has been of the shining lights for the dees this year playing a lone hand in defence. We have conceded the highest inside 50's in the league yet Colin still manages to hold his own, week in, week out, while providing fantastic drive from the defence.

jamison is way over-rated anyway, garland is where its at. mobile, tall, good spoiler and not bad with the ball.

the blues supporters just whack off over jamison because he's the only real decent backman they got...i mean cmon, thornton? waite? these guys arent defenders.

Cause being a shining light for the dees is an acheivement. I've seen broken globes emit more light. Garland might 'hold his own' which usually means concede a few goals/kicks but Jamison proves week in week out he is quite unbeatable on the lead, in the air and on deck. Can play on power forwards and small forwards and won't be beaten by either. Not to mention Jamison>Daylight>Nightlight>Nolight>Garland in run out of defence.

Over-rated? He hasn't been beaten, period.

All that he's played on except Richo in round 1.

The beauty of Jamison is he has good pace and agility and has also played and spanked small players like Medhurst.

Can't say the same for Garland unfortunately.

While he has continually beaten his taller opponents, he has also spanked Didak and Robert Murphy in particular.

See if you take out the rest of the quote we have Kouta in a nutshell. Little do we know that these 4 traits are being used to describe the Garlandator, hear him ROAR. I prefer to be a bit more subtle and honest with my descriptions but if we're going over the top Jamison is taller by a foot or so, has lightning pace and particulary fantastic closing speed, skills that make you think "is this Jamison or Buckley?" and agility to weave under a door at full pace.

Haven't seen much of Jamison TBH, Garland has been fantastic for us this year. Hence my vote goes to Garland since he's a Demon .

I think Garland is that little bit more athletic and skillful. His upside is bigger too, imo. I'm a big fan of him.

Last time I checked Thursfield owned that position Played on better opponents and beaten them.

Oh yes i get you, being a demon puts you a class above the rest? A Jimmy Stynes tear won't save your lot.

For those who havn't seen Jamison either look at his opponents stats or watch any Carlton game he's played in. Has not been beaten, which is more than i can say for Thursfield and Garland.
